Purposive Communication
Watch this Youtube video and after watching the video and reading the lesson,
answer the following questions:

1. Who was the sender? What was his/ her motivation or intention for participating
in the communication situation?
• The sender is the guy in the front of the counter he is asking for the things he
needed.

2. Who was the receiver? What was his/ her motivation or intention for
participating in the communication situation?
• the receiver is the guy behind the counter. His intention is to listen and to give
to what the customer has to say.

3. What was/were the sender's message/s? How did the receiver/s Interpret the
message/s?
• the sender's messages are some things he needed, for example is the fork
handles, due to the receiver's misunderstanding, he heard four candles which
led yo confusion.

4. What was the medium used? Was It effective in conveying the message/s?
• Verbal communication. It is very much effective when you are communicating
with someone.

5. What was/were the feedbacks? How did the receiver/s send the feedback/s
• The receiver is very much irritated from the way he looks and speaks because
of the misunderstanding between him and the sender.

6. Was there any noise? If yes, how did the noise affect the message/s?
• There is no noise heard that affects the conversation. But there is a lauging
audience in the background that makes the conversion funnier.
