By the end of the lesson, learners would be able to:
i. Understand the core essence of Christ‟s Resurrection
ii. Spread the news of Christ‟s resurrection.
iii. Live in the consciousness of the benefits of Christ‟s resurrec-
tion.
iv. Manifest the resurrection power in every aspect of Christian
life.
INTRODUCTION:
The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is the foundation of Chris-
tian faith. It is the pivot on which the Christian faith revolves. The
resurrection shows the absoluteness of Jesus Christ‟s power over
death and the hope of eternal life every believer has with him.
THE LESSON
A. What is the significance of Christ‟s resurrection?
1. Christ triumph over sin and death by being physically resur-
rrected so that all who trust in Him are raised to new life in
this world through baptism and to everlasting life in the
world to come.
2. The resurrection proves that Jesus is truly the Son of God
who has conquered death and reigns as Lord of all (Rom.
1:4; 4:25).
3. The resurrection proves that Jesus is the Messiah. He was not a
mere human being; He was raised from the dead by the pow-
er of the Holy Spirit.
