RENT AGREEMENT

This Deed of Rent is made at New Delhi on this ______by & between ______, daughter of
__________, R/o ___________________, (hereinafter called the HOUSE OWNER/
LESSOR/ FIRST PARTY) Attached with Aadhar Card no. ___________which
expression shall mean and include his/her leagal heir, successor, legal representatives,
nominees and signs at the first party.

And

________ S/o _____, R/o___________________________(hereinafter called the


TENANT/ LESSEE/ SECOUND PARTY ) Attached with Aadhar Card no.
_____________which expression shall mean and include his/her legal heir, successor, legal
representatives, nominees and signs at the second party.

WHEREAS the House owner is the sole absolute owner of said Property no.
____________________________. Lessor has agreed to give and lessee has agreed on
leave for a period of ____month for commercial purpose (hereinafter called the rented
premises/property).

NOW THIS DEED OF TENANCY WITHNESSETH THE FOLLOWING:-

1. That the second party/tenant shall pay a sum of Rs._______/- per month (excluding
electricity and sanitation charges) to the first party in ion before _____day of each
English calendar month. And one month security i.e. Rs_______/- the total amount
received Rs.________/- today i.e. _____________.
2. That the said tenancy shall be effective from __________for a period of further
_____months.
3. That after expiry of this rent agreement is made by mutual consent of both the
parties. That the rent will be increased @____% of the monthly rent after expired of
the tenancy/rent agreement.
4. That the second party shall use the above said premises only for commercial
purpose.
5. That it is agreed that the tenant shall not make any additions and alteration to the
tenanted premises without express or written consent of first party/landlord.
6. That the tenant shall not sub-let or part with the possession of the tenanted premises
to any person.
7. That first party and the tenant/second party shall observe the rent agreement clause
strictly and any breach of any clause of the agreement shall give right to the other
party to terminate the rent agreement.
8. That the tenant shall be fully bound to return back the possession of their said
premises in same condition to the first party at the time of termination of the
agreement or expiry of the tenancy period without raising any hindrance.
9. That both the parties shall gave one month advance notice to each other if they want
to vacant/ terminate the agreement prior to the expiry of the tenancy period.
10. That the second party shouldn’t carry any construction without informing the first
party or owner of the said property.
11. That the second party is liable to pay for any breakage/damage to the sanitary
electrical goods & other fittings during the tenancy period on account of negligence
of second party.
12. That this agreement does not come under Delhi rent control act as the first party has
right to evict the second party after notice and second party cannot proceed to stay
in the court of law.
13. That the tenant should carry out all necessary minor repairs and the tenant shall be
in charge for the day to day maintenance of the said rented premises.
