Dear Sir,
Response to Query Letter dated 8th August 2023.

I hope this letter finds you in good health. I am writing in response to the query letter I
received dated 8th August 2023, regarding the incident that occurred on 7th August 2023,
concerning my signing out on the university premises. I sincerely appreciate the opportunity to
address this matter and provide my perspective on the events.

First, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the education and experiences I have
gained during my time at Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology. The years
spent at the university have been a remarkable experience that helped in shaping my academic
and personal growth.

Furthermore, I want to express my regret for any disruption caused to fellow students and staff
members as a result of my actions and that of my colleagues. It was never our intentions to
create any inconvenience or violate the rules upholding this great university. I acknowledge
the importance of maintaining a conducive academic environment and upholding the
university's regulations with high esteem as I have been doing since arriving at this great
university.

I would like to clarify that my decision to sign out on 7th August was not made with the intent
to disrupt or disobey the university's guidelines. Rather the event was organized with the
intention of celebrating our achievements and fostering a sense of camaraderie among the
graduating class. At that time, I was not fully aware of the ban on signing out although they
were words going around the school stating such as well as a letter, but the letter was slated
for the 14th of this month. However, I understand that ignorance is not an excuse, and I deeply
apologize for any negative consequences that may have arisen from my actions.

I assure you that I am committed to being more diligent and attentive to university policies in
the future. I have learned from this experience and will strive to make better choices that
uphold the integrity of our institution. I am willing to take full responsibility for my actions
and to cooperate wholeheartedly with any necessary measures taken to address this situation. I
am deeply dedicated to the values that Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology
represents and to contributing positively to the university community.

Thank you for taking the time to read my response. I look forward to the opportunity to rectify
this situation and to continue my academic journey at Aliko Dangote University of Science
and Technology. My University My Pride.
