3. What is a league?

A league is a measurement used mostly by european people on the past, its


length varies around the world.

4. Who were the six hundred?

The soldiers that went to the battle

5. What did the poet mean by "The Valley of Death?

Alfred Loyd Tennyson meant that it was thr valley where lots of them were
going to die in the battle

6. Why is the line "Rode the Six hundred" repeated many times?

Because is a way to refer that the soldiers were going to the war

7. Why is the Valley described at the "mouth of hell"?

Because it was such an horrible place that the war took place in and so many lives
were taken by the war on its lands.

8. Why does the poet say "All the world wonder'd"

I think he says that because people didn’t know because what happened to them
and didn’t know what did was going to happen in the future to the ones that made it
back.

9. "Then they rode back but not the six hundred" What the the poet mean?

That the soldiers finally left but the some were left behind and didn’t make it back.
