Ramesha SVR SATECH 18 | Javed Farooq JE SATECH Objective: A Clarification Meeting with Bidder Saudi Technologists Consulting Engineers in presence of RC representatives, different EPM departments and PMT was held to discass and clarify the queries from Bidder and SABIC as part of Bidders Technical Evaluation process. SIN DESCRIPTION ACTION | REMARKS ‘A brief summary presentation was shared with the Bidder highlighting Al- 1 | Mutrafiah Project's magnitude, location and initial Urban Plan with its importance to SABIC. A Site visit was held with the Bidder & PMT. The material cost should be supported by documentations and estimation of mar is per ITB requirements. The study of Value Engineering is the Bidder’s responsibility. He has to conduct it for: a) Urban Re-subdivision b) Primary Infrastructure and c) 7 | Secondary Infrastructure. SATECH confirmed that they will hire 3" party facility. | Bidder shall provide specialized third party consultants forthe Field Survey | and Soil Investigation. This shall be reflected on the Project Schedule. 9 As-Built/ IFC drawings will be provided to the successful Bidder from RC for reference only and Bidder is responsible to carry out validations. Tehas been confirmed that all the Co-ordination work will be with RC- 10 | Projects Department only and they will be the focal point for other RC Departments for Submittals and Approvals. 11 | RC is tequiting minimum 14 working days for Submittal Approvals. The Bidder shall account and reflect this duration in his Schedule. TTB packages for primary and secondary construction shall be developed in such a way that an Initial Acceptance Certificate can be obtained from RC, 12 | MARAFIQ, SEC and other government agencies without need to hold the construction contractor. A lot of emphasis by RC was shown on this point. ‘The Bidder understands this requirement and agrees to comply. ‘SABIC require Scope of work, BOQ, all deliverables including 13. | Specifications, schedule, cost estimate ¥/- 10% for the bidding purposes for primary and secondary construction. SABIC will develop and compile the ITB for Construction from their end. The Bidder is expected to answer all quei during the construction bidding cycle.
