The Game Overview TikTok is a powerful tool if used correctly.

Today, we’re going to show


you how to make a piece of evergreen content that has the power to go viral and drive huge
conversion to your Roblox game. We have examples at the end!

What is the Game Overview TikTok?


It’s simple. This TikTok shows off all of the features in your game so that the user can determine
if they want to play. However, it’s rarely executed correctly. Let’s see the mistakes people
make!

Mistakes
● Not engaging at all
○ You should follow the 2-second rule: make something happen every 2 seconds
○ Most don’t show the most interesting parts of gameplay
○ Too much empty space
○ Lack of bouncy captions
● No call to action
○ Tell the user to do something at the end!

How to Properly Make One


● The beginning of the TikTok should showcase an establishing shot with something like
“this is our game [game name]”
○ The use of OUR establishes emotional connection to the viewer, increasing the
chances they want to support you. Use the first few sentences to build an
emotional argument.
● Showcase the top features of the game.
○ “You can do x [with gameplay], y [with gameplay], and z [with gameplay]”
● Make sure the description has the game name or “game link in bio”
● Compare it
○ Did you know that the easiest way to taste different coffees is through
comparative tasting? Jake why does that matter…
■ BECAUSE! It’s easier for someone to determine their thoughts on
something when it’s COMPARED to what they know.
■ If you compare your game to one that’s known then the user has a clearer
picture of if they should join or not.
● Voiceover
○ Use an ENGAGING voice over- maybe stay away from TTS for this!
○ Use bouncy captions for everything to keep the viewer engaged as well
● Call to action
○ At the end, all it takes is a simple “Would you play this game?” to make a 180 in
your video’s performance.
■ When we add that, we got TONS of comments saying “Yes”
● This increases engagement, and will turn more viewers into
players.
○ AS SOON AS YOU CAN… MAKE SURE YOUR GAME LINK IS IN THE BIO
ONCE YOU HIT 1K FOLLOWERS. THIS IS NECESSARY FOR CONVERSION
■ If you do not have the link feature yet, make a short bit.ly and put it
in the bio instead.
