EFFECTIVE USE

• Before commissioning, make sure that the unit has been on a flat horizontal surface for 12
hours without being plugged in.
• Ensure that the device, even when being transported, is always horizontal, otherwise you risk
damaging the compressor. If this does not happen, after the device is once again horizontal,
you must wait at least 12 hours before switching it on again.
• Remove all packing material.
• Clean the device as described under Cleaning and maintenance.

PUT TOGETHER

• Put the transparent cover (3) on the mixer motor (2) and lock both securely.
• Insert the mixer bar (4) into the mixer motor (2). Make sure it falls firmly into the ledges,
otherwise the mixer will not function properly.
• Place the removable ice bowl (5) into the permanently attached dish (11). Make sure the
handle of the removable bowl is in the locking tab to prevent the removable bowl from moving
while mixing.
• Put the mixer motor (2) on and turn it so that it drops into the insertion socket.
• WARNING: Never use the removable bowl (5) for the microwave, oven or any other appliance
that heats. Do not fill the cold bowl (5) with hot liquid or keep it cold under very hot water.
• To prevent cold loss, do not switch on the device without a transparent lid (3).

USE

Use timer

• The electronic timer (6) allows you to program the ice cream preparation time.
• IMPORTANT: When the timer (6) is turned off, mixing also stops, but the cooling process does
not. When the ice is ready, the cooling process must be turned off manually. Press the On/Off
switch for the cooling process (9) (the indicator light (10) goes off).
• Set the timer (6) by pressing the button as many times as necessary until the desired
duration (5/10/20/35/40 minutes is indicated.
• Turn on the mixer motor (2) using the mixer bar On/Off switch (1).
• Set the timer (6) by pressing the button.
• As soon as the time display stops flashing; ice cream preparation begins.
• To change the time setting, press the button and reset the time as described above.
• The end of the ice cream preparation time notified in advance with an audible signal.
• WARNING: The signal indicates that the programmed time duration has expired, but not that
the ice cream is also ready. If the ice cream is still not solid enough after the set time has
expired, extend the preparation time as described above.

Enable

• Before turning on the appliance, prepare the ice cream mixture (see Recipe Suggestions). If
the mass prepared in advance is hot, it must first be cooled in the refrigerator to refrigerator
temperature (to about 10°C).
• Place the unit on a level surface and check that the vents are not blocked.
• Once the appliance is assembled, the plug (7) can be plugged in.
• Press the cooling process On/Off switch (9); the cooling process indicator light will
come on to indicate that the cooling process has started.
• After five (5) minutes, according to the description above, set the timer and turn on the mixer rod
(1) in via the mixing function.
• Pour the already prepared ice cream mixture into the bowl through the opening in the transparent
lid (3).
• IMPORTANT: Never fill the bowl (5) with hot foods.
• IMPORTANT: Never fill the bowl (3) more than half full, because in ice cream preparation, the
• volume increases.
• During the ice cream preparation time, you can add chocolate sprinkles, raisins and any other
possible ingredients through the opening in the lid (3). Add alcohol only a few minutes before the
end of the cycle, otherwise the ice cream preparation time will be considerably longer.
• Depending on the selected recipe, the ice cream preparation time can take 5/10/20/35/40
minutes (approximately 35 minutes for fruit ice cream and 40 minutes for cream ice cream).
During this preparation time, the ice cream becomes creamy. For firmer ice cream, extend the
time by 10-20 minutes.
• Toward the end of the preparation time, you can check how solid the ice is through the
transparent lid (3).
• IMPORTANT: During ice cream preparation, do not interrupt the cooling process if not
necessary, as this may adversely affect successful ice cream preparation.
5

• When the ice cream has reached the proper consistency, the direction of rotation of the mixer
changes. This means that the ice cream preparation is finished. Changing direction of rotation
is not harmful to the motor, however, we recommend that you turn off the motor.
• If the ice needs to firm up a bit, you can leave the cooling process on for 10 to 20 minutes
longer.
• Turn off the appliance as soon as the ice is ready and unplug the power cord (7)from the outlet.
• WARNING: Remember to turn off the cooling process as soon as the ice is ready, otherwise the
ice will freeze solid to the bowl (5).
• Hold down the mixer motor release button (8) and turn the motor counterclockwise so you can
take it off.
• Take out the mixer bar so you can better loosen the ice cream from the bowl.
• To avoid damaging the bowl (5), loosen the ice with plastic or wooden tools.

KEEP ICE CREAM

Consume immediately
You can leave the ice cream in the turned off appliance for 10 to 20 minutes. Before serving,
turn on the appliance for a few more minutes, until the ice has regained the desired consistency
and temperature.
You can also place the ice cream in the freezer for a short period of time until the desired
consistency is reached.

Store in the freezer

You can store the ice cream in the freezer, but not for too long, as freshness and flavor diminish
after two weeks.
Put the ice cream in a container (plastic, aluminum), seal it tightly and put it in the freezer. Take
the ice cream out of the freezer 10 to 15 minutes before serving.

Recommended storage time

Ice cream from raw ingredients: 1 week in the freezer Fruit ice cream: 1 to 2
weeks Ice cream from semi-cooked ingredients: 2 weeks
CAUTION: Do not refreeze melted or partially melted ice cream.

Tips for preparation

For a recipe with ingredients to be cooked, remember to prepare the mixture a day in advance
and put it in the refrigerator so that it cools to the required temperature (about 10°C). Also
consider the final quantity (the bowl (5) should only be filled to half full because the volume
increases during cooking).

Recipes high in sugar, fat or alcohol take longer to become solid (depending on the proportions,
the mixture may not even become solid at all).
If you want to add more sugar during preparation, do not sprinkle the sugar in directly through the
filling opening, as the sugar will no longer dissolve. First dissolve the sugar in a little water or milk.
