NOTICE FOR PUBLIC MEETING The Rising Sun Advisory Plan Commission will hold a public meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 22, 2011, in the Council Room of the City Administration Building, 200 North Walnut Street, City of Rising Sun, County of Ohio, State of Indiana for the following purposes: Rising Sun/Ohio County First, Inc. 200 N. Walnut Street Rising Sun, IN Gaming Entertainment (Indiana) LLC d/b/a Rising Star Casino Resort 777 Rising Star Drive Rising Sun, IN 47040 Amending the detailed sight plan by the former owner, Hyatt Gaming Management, Inc./Grand Victoria Casino & Resort, by the applicant on land currently owned by Gaming Entertainment (Indiana) LLC d/b/a Rising Star Casino Resort in the UD-GR Unit Development?Gaming Resort Plan District to Planned Unit Development (PUD) as follows: (1) Rising Star Casino Resort seeks approval to vacate the expansion of hotel and related services and other commercial development with Preliminary Plan approval on March 6, 2008, City Council ap proval on April 14, 2008, and modification approval on March 9, 2009; and (2) the construction of a new 100 room four story hotel by Rising Sun/Ohio County First, Inc; the hotel will be constructed on a 2.880 acre parcel of land located on the existing Rising Star Casino Resort property between State Road 56 and Rising Star Drive and being located southeast of Flavors and directly south of the end of Smart Drive in what is commonly known as the employee overflow parking lot.
