Dear Sir or Madam,

My name is Henrique Campos Amorim, I am 19 years old and I am starting my 6th

semester at EESP/FGV in Economics. I am writing this letter because if I could make the
Disney experience more magical for just one person, I wouldn’t be able to describe the
feeling of gratitude for the place that gave me so many magical moments. So, taking part
in the Cultural Exchange Program as a Cast Member, where I could do it every day? I can’t
think of anything more fulfilling.

Ever since I went to Disney for the first time, I have dreamt of pursuing a position
in the company. When my friends told me about the possibility of working inside Disney,
interacting with guests, coworkers from the whole globe and with the Magic inside of you
I knew for sure that this opportunity was not something I was going to let slip from my
fingers. It is a chance of having a lifetime impact on guests at the same level the Cast
Members impacted me when I was in Disney. When guests go to Disney it is not just a
trip or going to several parks with rides, but the materialization of years and years of
movies, songs, dialogues and characters that were present through most time of a
person’s life. And taking part in helping people going back home with the feeling that their
dreams came true is indescribable. I am certain that, as a company that teaches and leads
the world in terms of entertainment, guest service and creating astonishing experiences,
I have a lot to learn from everybody working at Disney. Besides that, one thing I love
about learning experiences is that it’s never only one side that simply teaches and the
other just learns, it’s always a process of mutual incorporation of new perspectives and
opinions, so I believe this program will give me the opportunity to also share some of my
experiences and best practices so that everyone can benefit from this awesome win-win
situation.

I believe that places, jobs and tasks are done in the best way possible when the
person doing it has (and loves) a powerful reason for doing so. And that’s the case for me
in the Cultural Exchange Program. Since very little I have been participating in a NGO
called CISV, at which we learn to overcome cultural barriers to see the similarities between
people, use alternative methods to communicate to prove that language is not essential
for us to engage in ways of sharing information and so much more. But deep down it has
always been about appreciating similarities and learning to value differences. In Disney,
as a Cast Member, I am sure that the magical moments created for people all around the
world no matter their faith, culture or language and the feeling that the place you work at
can mesmerize each and every single one that goes through the gates will be more than
the motivation necessary for all the applicants and specially to me. In addition to that, the
fact that the group of Cast Members is also composed of people from every corner of the
world.

If I am gifted with the opportunity of spending a couple of months under no matter

what circumstances creating and delivering astounding magical moments to the biggest
amount of people as possible, rest assured I will be one hundred and ten percent focused
on doing that. It will also mean a lot to once again have an experience in which differences
and similarities come to light and we’ll be able to, as a group of Cast Members, use that
in our favor to accomplish what none of us would have had we been working separately.

I am grateful for having this chance to apply to Disney’s Cultural Exchange

Program. I know that in this program I will be able to improve myself as a worker, a
coworker, a student and in many other ways as well as helping everyone around me do
the same.

Respectfully yours,
Henrique Campos Amorim
