The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), which consists of thousands of scientists
from around the world, has been researching and documenting the effects of climate change for
decades. They have identified numerous effects on the environment, including changes in
precipitation patterns, increased sea level rise, and more frequent and intense extreme weather
events. These effects are already being felt around the world, and the IPCC has warned that they will
become even more pronounced in the years to come.
Climate change is also causing the global temperature to rise, which has numerous consequences. As
temperatures rise, heat waves become more intense and frequent, leading to heat-related illnesses
and deaths. Additionally, warmer temperatures lead to an increased risk of drought, which can lead
to crop failure, water shortages, and famine. Warmer temperatures also lead to increased
evaporation, which can result in more intense storms and flooding.
The consequences of climate change are also being felt in the oceans. As the temperature of the
oceans rises, coral reefs are bleaching and dying, while fish and other marine life are struggling to
adapt to their changing environment. Additionally, ocean acidification is occurring as the
