2. the cover sheet printed with this checklist (includes your unique reference
number which links to your details, and your return address)

What you need to do

• You must send us the original identity document by recorded delivery.

• If you want your identity document returned to a different address from
the one on your account, include a return address on the cover sheet.
• Send the cover sheet with your identity document to:

We may not be able to return your identity document to an address

outside of the UK.

What happens next

• If we need more information about this change, we will contact you on the
email or phone number on your account.

• We will email you to confirm when we have updated your details.

• We will return your identity document by recorded delivery as soon as we

have checked and confirmed the new details.
