Let’s trive together!
Content Creation Module
Iʼm making this for absolute beginners but if you have any experience, stick with
me since youʼll get a lot from this one
Buckle up
Why do you want to create content
This is probably the most important part of the video so listen up
I started to create content in 2021 during COVID, I was looking for a way to
communicate what I was thinking
Everybody thought I was a motivational speaker or something like that
Eventually I had a hard time building an audience because I wasnʼt living
what I preach
I shifted my content to something that Iʼve actually experienced
That is how I get to grow my channel
I started living and going through more and getting back to making the
contents that I stopped making.
Now I have the confidence to talk about my experience and help people
even if itʼs the same thing.
What Iʼm trying to tell you is before you start making a single post, you need to
decide what your intention is because once you open your mouth you are
telling the whole world who you are
Iʼm telling you this because the biggest issue is being inspired by someone
and trying to be like that person
You canʼt tell people about business without having one, you need to be
someone people would want to become meaning you need to have the
proof.
You might ask, how can I have proof if Iʼm a beginner, donʼt have hobbies
probably not good at anything?
Content Creation Module 1
Great, Iʼll tell you the type of content that you should make as a beginner in
section 2 but before that letʼs define why you want to become a content
creator
There might be someone who is saying just tell me how to make TikTok, itʼs
people like you who fail to be consistent
Some of the top reasons people want to be a content creator
Making money
This is a great motivator because you can make a ton of money from
content creation.
The problem is it takes way too much time and effort to even see a
glimpse of it.
No one wants to sponsor, no revenue, no gifts. Itʼs just you creating
content for yourself
Even if you get to do it to make money, no good reason to do it any
longer.
This is the exact reason why we see some people promoting garbage
and getting paid for something they never believed in.
To become famous like some people
Being famous is not the goal
Naval, Iʼd rather be rich and unknown than broke and famous
Iʼve met so many TikTokers who have the attention but not the cash.
They want a better life but they canʼt afford it, they donʼt want to take a
taxi because theyʼre famous but canʼt afford to buy a car or take a Ride
every time.
Iʼve experienced it even though everybody knows my status, it doesnʼt
feel good because we know people will judge
Of course, eventually, you will make money but the situation is so
difficult that you might get to do some stuff just for the money and that
ruins your life forever. we donʼt need to mention names here.
So even if being famous is super important it shouldn't be the drive.
Content Creation Module 2
Better reasons
Sharing what you got to the world:
Authenticity is the biggest factor in content creation, if you truly
become yourself, itʼs so much adorable.
Some of the people who get amazing results are those who share what
they have.
Any hobby or something youʼre interested in, bring that to the world
and you will be amazed at how many people share your hobby.
Movies, Music, Food, Places, Hiking, Books, Poems, as crazy as it
might sound Pets, Candles, Fashion - really anything.
Later on, we will pick one of these and show you how to be a good
creator on them.
Especially if you know how to tell stories, you will explode dramatically,
I will mention “Buna with Selamˮ Storytelling later on
This also works for business owners to promote their business through
personal branding.
Documenting your life
This is something I regret not doing
One - you never know whose life gets to change just by watching you
being yourself. Imagine how much it would have been helpful if Haile
G/silassie documented his every step or Elon Musk…
Two Even if you struggle to get the views at first, once you made it,
people will go back to your older videos and see your progress, thatʼs
your proof of what you preach
Building an audience
If you know Lidiana Solomon, another female artist who started a
business from their fame. People like Cristiano Ronaldo, The Rock, Mr
beast, and Iman all of their brands are really successful because they
have built an audience.
Content Creation Module 3
Building a personal brand and monetizing it is one of the best business
models in the world and will continue to be
If you already have a business and youʼre able to create content that
resonates with your audience and tell stories about your products,
youʼre guaranteed success.
To educate and influence people
Another powerful reason if you want to be really successful
If you know or have experience with something that you can teach,
people will always want extra and thatʼs when you make money
This is the reason Dentists, Fitness Coaches, and Business owners
create content. They give free value and ask for money for extra
service.
Actually, this is one of the reasons I create content too
They benefit from the free value and I make money once they pay me
for my services.
This is great because when a customer comes after consuming your
content they already have a built-up trust and that will eliminate more
back-and-forth meetings
This is also an amazing strategy to charge more because the customer
is grateful that theyʼre in business with you or purchased from you,
could take pictures with you, and make UGC User Generated Content)
tell their friends about you. this will grow your business even further
Freedom:
Content creation is a full-time job for a lot of people
Itʼs one of the fun things to make a living
But as I told you earlier, at the early stages itʼs so difficult
Youʼre doing everything, but canʼt afford to hire someone else
So if you have a full-time job and planning to quit and pursue content
creation, I recommend taking a step back and starting while you have
a sustainable income
Content Creation Module 4
Mr beast made videos while in college, Ali Abdal was a medical doctor
PewDiePie, Casey, Marques Brown Lee
you donʼt have to quit your job or class. start where you are
Now that we cleared that out, letʼs get into the cool stuff and make you a content
creator

Topics: Personal Experience
Past lessons in life, connect them to what youʼre trying to sell now
Do stuff and talk about it: Talk about each conversation you had
Present: Record ideas whenever they come
Fabricated: Research a topic, do it then show it to the world. Mr
beast
Delivery methods & Platform Selection
 Text
 Visual
 Audio
 Video
Depending on the platform you can select any one of them that youʼre
comfortable with and proceed.
For this video, the principles apply to all but we will focus more on VIDEO
You also can do multiple of them especially when you do it full time
Later on in section 3, we will talk about how to make one content and
convert that into all of them.
Platform selection
Your Top Pick Platforms
 Facebook
 Instagram
 X
 LinkedIn
 TikTok
 YouTube
Content Creation Module 6
Most of you ask should I post everywhere, and which one should I pick, I
canʼt stand in front of a camera, my family and friends are there…. donʼt
freak out
First thing first Any platform would work
Before choosing where to focus, check each platformʼs organic to paid
reach
If you ask me, go ahead to TikTok because youʼll learn the process of
content production much easier than other platforms because you learn
from your mistakes so quickly, reach is amazing
Donʼt spread yourself, start from one platform, master that, and go to
the next one instead of trying to make it everywhere with only one
content.
There might be content that you can use across different platforms but
donʼt overdo it, each platform wants original content
In this section, weʼll talk about content repurposing
Create content people choose to watch
Whatever the type of content that youʼre making and whatever the platform
is, you need to have 3 units
Topics Prefer personal experience
Past: Past lesson and connect that with your product or topic
Recent Past: Do stuff and talk about it, save every conversation you
have with people
Present: Record ideas whenever they come
Manufactured: Research the topic then learn it, make it or do it then
show it to the world.
Hook: Get them to notice your content.
Cocktail party effect
Labels: words that put people in a group, better if people identify
with that label
Ex: Remote workers, Freelancers, Electronics shop owners,
Content Creation Module 7
The goal here is to catch their attention
Yes Questions: Yes thatʼs me
Ex: Do you have a problem with X
If then statements: If they met your condition
Ridiculous results: Iʼll give out to anyone who answers three
questions for me
Retain: Creating curiosity
Three ways to embed curiosity:
Lists: 28 ways to stay poor - flexible but less explicit reward
Steps: 3 steps to creating a great hook - a more explicit reward
Stories: have happened, might happen, or will never happen
Somebody did this to me, here is what I did to him
My journey from a broke university student to a business
owner
Reward:
The real question of all this is, is it good?
There is no such thing as long content, there is a myth that you
should limit your videos to 3060sec.
One person could get tired of a 10-second video and binge-watch a
TV series for 8 hrs.
If you know how to reward your audience you can play around.
If your hook promises “7 Ways to invest for extra incomeˮ and
you give: A four ways B seven ways that stunk (or theyʼve
heard them all before). (C) youʼre talking to a room of students,
you did a bad job of rewarding them. People will not want to
watch it again, and certainly wonʼt share it.
If youʼre a beginner at everything then
Start making content about your learning phases
Content Creation Module 8
I started this class and I learned this today, so here to apply
Show progress with dedication
I wanted to try making this thing
Fame jacking
Letʼs do a rebrand, redesign, remix
I started a challenge of doing X for Y period of time
How to Stand out as a creator
Donʼt talk about something you donʼt know, put in the work first.
Do not be romantic about the platform, go where the attention is. I know
why you donʼt do it because you donʼt want the humiliation to be
successful immediately. Master at one and diverge.
Perfection is insecurity - long before I had a team, I was doing just for the
sake of doing it not being obsessed with perfection
Master humility ገገማ - itʼs a superpower - be okay with having 10 views
Your follower number doesnʼt matter, a lot of people get insecure about not
getting many views and having huge followers, itʼs always better to put out
content
If you have a bad week or month it doesnʼt mean youʼre career is done.
If youʼre serious about content creation, itʼs not something you want to do as a
side, itʼs so much harder than you think, if there are any content creators in the
room theyʼd understand what I mean
Donʼt freak out about the views and bad lighting, setup…. because nobody is
watching it.
Be so good at making it and everything will be added to you
