King Louis XVI Executed?

On the morning of January 20, 1793, King Louis the XVI was beheaded by the guillotine after
being King from 1774 to 1792 and having the last reign of any King in France.

Who was King Louis XVI?


King Louis XVI is often depicted as a tyrant in France, causing the
economy in France to plummet and made many political mistakes. King
King Louis XVI was born in The Palace of Versailles in France on
August 23, 1754. King Louis XVI was the heir to Louis Ferdinand Louis
(Dauphin of France) and Marie Josepha of Saxony (Dauphine of
France). King Louis XVI was very interested in History, XVI
Geography, and exceling in the language of Latin. King Louis XVI
espoused Marie Antoinette.

What caused the French people to revolt against King Louis XVI?
King Louis XVI had a bad perception in making political decisions in France.
King Louis XVI caused the economy in France to crash, and this stacked up with

After fear of the Revolution, King Louis the XVI wore a disguise, and
on June 20-21, 1791, King Louis made an attempt to escape the
Tuileries. Unfortunately for King Louis the XVI, somebody eventually
recognized who it was from an assignat (which had King Louis XVI’s Flight to
portrait) and was brought back to Paris where King Louis XVI is forced
to accept the new constitution. Parisians stormed the Tuileries Palace Varennes
once they found out that Marie Antoinette and King Louis XVI were
King Louis the XVI’s speech was never heard due to it being drowned from the commotion of
hoping for the Austrians overcome and bring them back to power. King
