Green

hydrogen

Is produced when water is separated by electrolysis,

which requires passing an electric current through it.
Thus, water separates into hydrogen and oxygen. In
this way, hydrogen can be extracted from the water,
and oxygen is released into the air.

Uses of green hydrogen:

-Heating:used to produce the gas needed for cooking.
-Green ammonia production.
-Energy Storage:Green Hydrogen Tanks Storage Energy
and Are Better Than Lithium Batteries.
-Water and electricity generation: through
the reaction between hydrogen and oxygen

The relationship between green hydrogen and

renewable energy?

Green hydrogen is a type of low-carbon, renewable

energy, and its importance lies in its ability to provide
high-capacity, low-emission energy in order to
protect the environment.
Therefore, Egypt seeks to meet the basic requirements
for hydrogen production. Incorporating green
hydrogen into its energy mix is likely to achieve
significant side benefits, including reducing
greenhouse gas emissions and moving away from
traditional hydrocarbon fuels.

Benefits of green hydrogen:

1- A source of clean energy: Green hydrogen is
produced using renewable energy sources such as
wind and solar energy. It is a clean energy source
that does not emit greenhouse gases or air
pollutants, making it an environmentally friendly
alternative to fossil fuels.
2- Transportation, electricity generation, and
industrial processes: It has the ability to replace
fossil fuels in many sectors, which reduces
dependence on non-renewable resources.

Harmful effects of green hydrogen:

Hydrogen gas is highly flammable and can ignite with
just a spark. It can also explode when mixed with air
in certain concentrations. Proper handling and storage
