Life Ambition and Purpose statement & Resume

Why would you have less if you could have more? I ask myself this question everyday.
Why would I not want to get the fullness of life and settle for less? This is the statement that
keeps me going every morning. It is an amazing concept to me that doing just a little bit more
everyday can do wonders for you. Why would you not take that extra step, extra mile, extra
page, extra hour at work, extra hour with your family? Why look back on your life and see so
much more you could have accomplished? This is the purpose of my life: to get the most out of
my life. I am trying to find the fullness of life in a spiritual, physical, and mental way.

The fullness of my life in the spiritual way is one of the three main motivators in my life. I
strive to be with God in heaven when I pass from this life. That is the fulfillment of every man’s
life. I am in a Catholic school, which keeps me disciplined and teaches me the foundation on
every aspect of the life of a Catholic person and how to be a good Catholic man. I also strive to
do service for others and to help serve my community. By doing the seven Corporal Works of
Mercy, like feeding the hungry through food donations or through for others, I can grow
immensely in my spiritual life. My ambition is to join God in heaven with the Saints and to live a
life of holiness on this earth so others can follow the faith from my example.

The fulfillment of my life in a physical way is to get the most out of my body as I can. I
strive to be a strong and healthy individual every day. I lift weights six times a week and one of
my biggest goals right now is to be in the 1000 pound club at my school. The 1000 pound club
is where your bench press, back squat, and deadlift equal 1000 pounds. I am striving to have
great heart health and to be in great shape. I am also striving to eat healthy and to make sure I
am getting the right amount of nutrients to be in the best shape. Being in great physical shape
builds discipline and teaches me to push past what I think I can achieve opposed to what I can
actually do. This teaches me to work the hardest I possibly can in order to accomplish
something great.

The fullness of life in the mental sense for me means I want to be at peace with myself
and teach myself how to treat every hardship in life with strength and courage. A common
saying in sports is “It is ninety percent mental, ten percent physical.” I live by this statement by
always making sure my mental state is sound and that so I am always pushing myself to have a
strong willed and unbreakable mental state. I strive daily to be resilient so when anything tragic
or unexpected happens to me, I stay firm and strong in who I am and what I believe in.

In the future of my life, I strive to become a very successful high schooler and to be a
strong leader and role model for the younger students at my school. I am striving to go to a
great university and to get a job that will make me successful in life. I plan to become a
successful engineer or a job that I will truly enjoy so I never have to work a day in my life. I want
to someday buy my mom her dream car, a Porsche 911 Carrera. I strive to become financially
free to have more time to spend with my kids and helping others. I strive to have a great,
Catholic, and successful family who I love with all my heart. I want to help my kids become the
best version of themselves in every aspect of their lives. I hope to make a lasting impact on my
family, friends, and community. I have heard this quote and it goes “You die twice, the first time
is when you physically die and the second time is when your name is last mentioned.” I strive to
have success in the public world, but more importantly to be content in my mind, heart, and soul
with what I have done in my life.

I want to be 90 years old and look back at my whole life and say, Did I leave anything on the
plate, did I strive to have more instead of less? Did I go that extra step, extra rep, extra minute
to get the most out of what I am doing? I strive daily to answer this question with a truthful yes.
