Once there was a village in Bihar where one could find many Mongoose. A woman named Shanti head a pet Mongoose. it
was very faithful friend and to care of Shanti and her child in the absence of her husband.
Her husband hitesh was mining in the engineer posted in jharkhand.One day, Shanti went to the market to buy some
medicines, leaving her baby in the house. She thought mongoose will take care of her baby. Shanti had never left her baby
alone in the house before this.
As soon as moved outside, a big Cobra entered into house. It move towards the room where the baby was sleeping. the
mongoose sort and kill it after a long and fierce battle.when Shanti returned home she saw the mongoose lying in the
entrance with its blood covered mouth.
She thought that the mongoose head killed her baby. Suddenly she through a big flower pot on her pet and killed it.Shanti
entered into the room and found her baby in good condition. She was filled with remorse as she killed her pet without
knowing the truth. Nearby a big Cobra lay dead The women shed tears over mongoose dead body.
