INTRODUCTION

The spell outlined in this booklet aims to bring about a speedy manifestation. It is
meant to transmute thoughts in the deep mind.

It works simultaneously as a banishing and an attracting spell and, therefore, may be

worked during any moon phase. It is recommended that the dark moon and eclipses
be avoided, however.

This spell does not deal with planetary magic, so it doesn’t matter which day of the
week you start your spell. But if you want to start your spell on a particular planetary
day, you may.

This spell uses the Marseille Tarot to achieve the correct mental posture necessary for
a speedy manifestation.

The pips (Minor Arcana) of the Marseille decks are not illustrated. They are just abstract
representations of the number of each suit (5 wands, six chalices, ten coins, etc.).
More modern decks, such as the Rider Waite Smith decks and its offshoots, often have
the pips illustrated as what they are supposed to mean. I don’t find these decks nearly
as effective as the Marseille decks for this spell.

This spell also incorporates color magic to help impregnate your deep mind with a
powerful thought form.

Be sure that you are working within your sphere of influence. This means you must
know that your goal is within what you believe is possible.

For instance, don’t ask to win the Powerball if you need money. Ask that your financial
needs be met with cash to spare.

Working within your sphere of influence tends to have a snowball effect. What seemed
impossible a few months or even weeks prior will begin to seem perfectly reasonable
to you.

There is no righteous desire of your heart that cannot be fulfilled.

3
A TAROT SPELL FOR SPEEDY MANIFESTATION

Items needed for this spell:

1. A Tarot deck (preferably a Marseille deck)
2. A printout of the included talisman sheets
3. A coloring medium (colored pencils, pens, paints, crayons, etc.)
4. A candle of a color appropriate to your spell (optional)
5. A perfume with a scent appropriate to your spell (optional)

Procedure:

Step 1: Define Your Goal

Answer the following questions in writing:

1. What do you want?
2. Why do you want it?
3. When do you want it by?
4. What will it do for you?
5. How will it benefit the world?
6. What are the essences of what you want?

Essences are the ultimate qualities your goal will bring you, i.e., freedom, happiness,
safety, etc. The concept of essences is dealt with in more detail in my course,
Witchcraft Beyond the Basics.

Once you have listed your answers to the six questions above, write a Desire
Statement.

Formulate your desire statement so that it focuses on the essence of your desire,
leaving the details, ways, and means of its accomplishment to your deep mind. This is
key to a speedy manifestation.

An example of a Desire Statement:

“I am employed at a job, doing what I love to do by an employer that pays me what I

desire or even more. I have a happy work environment. I work with wonderful people. It
is so easy for me to travel to work each day. I am overjoyed that there is plenty of room
for promotion; I love going to work daily, etc.”

4
Step 2: Find the Right Tarot Cards for Your Spell

First, remove the Court Cards from your deck and set them aside, as they aren’t used
in this spell.

Take the remaining cards and separate them into two piles, trumps in one pile and pips
in the other.

Place these two piles before you, face down.

Read your Desire Statement out loud as you shuffle the trumps pile.

Fan the trumps, face down, and choose one card. This card represents the causative
principle of your desire. If this card seems positive and powerful, move on to the next
step.

If the card represents an unwanted influence, it indicates your spell needs to be

rewritten.

For example, if the Moon card was pulled, it might suggest that your goal or timeline is
not within your sphere of influence and is thus self-deceptive.

If the Tower was pulled, it might indicate that your spell is worded destructively;
perhaps you need to add a line that states “for the highest good of all.”

If the Devil card is pulled, it might mean that your spell is causing you or someone else
to be imprisoned in some way, perhaps because you named too many specifics in your
spell, such as a particular place of employment or the love of a specific person. Thus
you need to reword your spell to include “the perfect job” or “the perfect relationship.”

These are only examples; the cards mentioned above may not necessarily represent
the same things in your spell. You must determine whether the trump card is telling you
to redefine your spell or if you will keep it as is and move forward with the card you
pulled.

Allow the pictures of the trump cards to give you the answers rather than only relying
on “official” meanings. The meanings of the trumps can change from spell to spell.
Allow yourself to open up to the card you pulled and have it “speak” to you. See if
particular images, colors, attitudes, etc., call out.

If you need to reword your spell, complete Step 1 again. Then, replace the trump card
you initially drew back in its pile and re-shuffle while reciting your new Desire
Statement.

5
Again, fan the stack and pull a new card. If this new card tells you that your spell is
written well, move on to the next step. If it still seems negative, repeat the process of
rewording, reshuffling, and redrawing a new trump card until you are confident that
your spell is well-conceived and well-written.

Once you are satisfied with the trump card for your spell, place it face up before you.
Read your goal statement out loud while shuffling the pile of pip cards.

Fan the pips, face down, and pull a card. This represents the manifestation of your
desire as it stands now.

If this outcome looks like what you want, move on to the next step.

If your card does not represent the desired effect, you must ascertain what the card is
communicating to you.

If the card represents something negative or seems “off,” it means a block to receiving
what you desire. Acknowledge the block.

Create a transformation statement. A transformation statement is a sentence that

eliminates and transforms the energy that seems to be blocking you.

Some examples of transformation statements are:

“I call upon Infinite Spirit to dissolve my tendency toward selfishness in this situation
completely. I transform this into a new effect that serves the highest good of all.”

“Any patterns of abuse or hostility surrounding this issue are now transformed, and only
truth, safety, and joy remain.”

After you say your statement out loud, replace the card you drew.

Reshuffle the pips while reciting your spell aloud, and choose another card. Keep
repeating this process until you have a card representing your desired manifestation.

Keep notes of the cards you replaced and what you feel they represented, along with
each transformation statement you came up with.

Remember, the trump card represents the causative principle of your spell. The pip
card represents how your magic is manifesting itself.

If you decide to reword your spell during any part of the process, you must start again
at Step 1 since a new trump card would need to be pulled for the newly worded spell.

6
Once you are satisfied with the pip card, move on to the next step.

Step 3: Write Your Incantation

Reduce your entire goal down to a small, easily memorized incantation. Try to make
your incantation rhyme. The incantation does not include details of your goal.

An example incantation is, “I’m employed doing what I adore; I love my work like never
before.”

Step 4: Make The Talisman

Print the talisman sheets in this booklet, and cut your pip card out. Color your card
using any media you like: crayons, paints, colored pencils, markers, etc.

Chant your rhyming incantation occasionally as you color your card.

See the appendix for more information about choosing colors for your talisman.

Once you have finished coloring your talisman, write the incantation you have been
chanting on the reverse side of the talisman.

You may write on your talisman in Theban Script to give your spell some extra punch
(see the Appendix for a copy of the Theban Script).

Step 5: Charge Your Talisman

Casting a circle is not mandatory to charge the talisman, but you may do so if you like (see A
Witch’s Primer for detailed instructions on casting a circle).

1. Place your trump card and pip card on a table or altar, with your talisman beneath
them.

2. Spray or anoint your talisman with an appropriate perfume. If perfume bothers you,
omit it; your spell will work fine without it.

3. Light a candle either beside or on top of the talisman. You can use a plain white
candle or a candle the color of your focus color.

7
You can use a flameless candle if you can’t burn candles. When using a flameless
candle, any time a spell calls for you to let the candle burn down and out by itself,
leave it lit for one hour, switch it off, and put it away for future use.

4. Take some time to project your desire into the talisman. See yourself being, doing,
or having that which you desire. Feel your talisman vibrating with power as you do
this.

You must FEEL as if your desire has been fulfilled during this step. Imagine the
actual feeling of getting what you want.

After a few minutes, extinguish your candle.

5. Repeat the candle burning, visualization, and charging of your talisman daily until
you get a sense of peace and certainty that your spell has been fully cast.

Then let the candle burn down and out by itself.

If you have used perfume on your talisman, applying more on subsequent days of
your spell isn't necessary. The first day is sufficient.

6. Hide your talisman somewhere in your home, or carry it with you.

7. Once your desire has come to fruition, destroy the talisman by burning or tearing it
up.

Theban Script
Convert your desire to this script before you write it on the back of your talisman. Doing so gives
you focus on your goal. So many witches and magicians have used this script over the years
that it has built up a significant amount of Akashic energy, which can be very helpful when we
want speedy manifestations.

Focus Colors for Talismans
Find the color that best represents your desire and use it as your focus color when coloring your
talisman.

You can add other colors to the talisman to contrast, define, and compliment your focus color.
Color wheels for artists often show many lovely color schemes that go well with each color.

Make sure your focus color is prominent on your talisman, and then have fun experimenting with
color! If your talisman doesn’t look like a great work of art, that does not matter. Some of my
least attractive talismans have brought me the most outstanding results.

Red: Energy, sex, passion, love, courage, movement.

Pink: Joy, love, friendship, harmony, beauty, creativity.

Orange: Attraction, motivation, ambition, success, healing, protection.

Yellow: Mind, sociability, networking, career, mental clarity.

Green: Money, fertility, health, luck, prosperity, creativity, harmony.

Blue: Healing, inspiration, peace, happiness, fidelity.

Purple: Power, wisdom, spiritual awareness.

White: Personal strength and insight, peace, serenity, truth, purification.

Black: Banishing, release, protection.

Brown: Solidity, endurance, dependability, practicality.

Silver: Feminine energy, psychic development, magic, fantasy.

Gold: Male power, success, fortune.

Note: If you are using white as a focus color, You can print the talisman on white paper and use
your complimentary colors to highlight the uncolored portions of the white paper.

Another method is to print your talisman on colored paper and use white coloring media
prominently when coloring the talisman.

11
Perfumes for Talismans
Perfumes are a traditional method of charging talismans. You can find “occult” perfume oil
blends that have names like “money draw,” “love,” “peace,” etc. Feel free to use those oils to
anoint your talisman if you desire.

When oils are used to anoint a talisman, it is also common to wave the talisman through some
incense smoke dedicated to the purpose at hand.

I prefer spray colognes and flower waters instead of oils to anoint talismans. Spray perfume
negates the need to burn incense since the spray is a “creature of air.”

Verbena and lavender are two all-purpose perfumes that can be used on any talisman.

Traditional Eau de Cologne is another excellent all-purpose scent when anointing talismans. If
using Eau de Cologne, choose a traditional citrus-based one such as Florida Water or 4771.

In addition to Eau de Cologne, verbena, and lavender, I often employ single-note perfumes. I
choose a scent from the following list that corresponds with the focus color of my talisman.

Be aware that the colors listed don’t always correspond with the colors of the flowers, for
instance, the color black with the scent of violet.

Focus Color Perfume

Red ...........................Honeysuckle

Pink ..........................Rose

Orange .....................Orange Blossom

Silver ........................Gardenia
