Ljubljana Festival Masterclasses 2024

Dear Sir or Madam,

As part of the 72nd Ljubljana Festival, the Ljubljana Festival Masterclasses which offer young musicians from all
over the world the opportunity for further training, will again be held under the artistic direction of Branimir Slokar from
25 July to 11 August.

In 2024 participants will be taught by twelve distinguished professors and leading musicians:

• LANA TROTOVŠEK, violin 29. 7.–4. 8. 2024 • OLE KRISTIAN DAHL, bassoon 31. 7.–5. 8. 2024
• HARTMUT ROHDE, viola 5. 8.–9. 8. 2024 • REINHOLD FRIEDRICH, trumpet 5. 8–11. 8. 2024
• JENS-PETER MAINTZ, cello 30. 7.–6. 8. 2024 • RADOVAN VLATKOVIĆ, horn 6. 8.–11. 8. 2024
• RICK STOTIJN, double bass 30. 7.–5. 8. 2024 • EPIFANIO COMIS, piano 25. 7.–30. 7. 2024
• EMANUEL ABBÜHL, oboe 6. 8.–11. 8. 2024 • FABIO FURIA, bandoneon 25. 7–29. 7. 2024

The Masterclasses will end with a concert by students at the Vič-Rudnik Music School, and there will be other
concert evenings during which participants will be able to listen to their professors playing.

We are inviting all young musicians who would like to expand their musical horizons, acquire new experience and
spend time with top musicians to apply for the Masterclasses.
