On Saturday, February 24, 2024, CWTS trainee had an exceptional day was a day filled excitement as Sir Clyde made a crucial announcement regarding a clean-up drive. The objective of thi jative was to clean one of the most prominent tourist and spiritual attractions in Catubig, Northern ‘Samar, known as the Station of the Cross. Where Students were assigned to specific areas to tidy up in the Station of the Cross. The momentum continued as the clean-up drive was extended to the campus immediately after the announcement. Each department was assigned their respective cleaning areas, and the BSED Major in English students were given the responsibility of cleaning the Quadrangle of the University. This day was marked by productivity and organization as the students eagerly took part in community service. The announcement served as a call to action, inspiring them to work together towards maintaining cleanliness in both the tourist spot and their school promises. The dedication and cooperation displayed by the students in fulfilling their cleaning duties demonstrated their commitment to service and environmental responsibility. On Saturday, February 03, 2024, CWTS learners had an exceptional day. It was a day filled with excitement as Sir Alden made a crucial announcement regarding a clean-up drive. Also this day was the day where submission of form regards to NSTP CWTS learners profile. Moreover after the announcement and submission of form the cwts learners were immediately Dismissed as the Dal Gymnatirium is not available. The announcement served as a call to action, inspiring Cwts Learners to work together towards maintaining cleanliness in both the tourist spot and their school premises. The dedication and cooperation displayed by the students in fulfilling their cleaning duties demonstrated their commitment to service and environmental responsibility. ‘On Saturday, February 10, 2024, the CWTS trainees engaged in modular distance learning. | spent the day completing Module 1, which focused on Environmental Education Program. After thoroughly reading and comprehending the module, | promptly answered Activity 1 in Lesson 1, which revolved around ecological waste management. Upon finishing that, | proceeded to Lesson 2, which discussed the clean air act, and similarly completed its accompanying activity. ‘The day was dedicated to independent learning through modules. Modul 1 allowed me to delve into the importance of environmental education and its implications. Excited to apply my newfound knowledge, | eagerly completed Activity 1 in Lesson 1, where | explored various aspects of ecological waste management. Pleased with my progress, | swiftly moved on to Lesson 2, which delved into the clean air act. Engaging with the content, | answered its with equal enthusiasm and determination. On Saturday, February 17, 2024, the Cwts Trainees parti modular distance learning. Throughout the day, | completed modules 2, 3, and 4, Module 2 focused on the Stress Education Program, in which 1 answered questions and provided relevant information. Moving on to module 3, the topic centered around the livelihood program, delving into the various aspects and approaches to promoting sustainable livelihoods. Finally, module 4 explored the realm of Social Services, highlighting the importance of community support and welfare initiatives. During the completion of these modules, an interesting activity stood out. It required a documentary recording of an urban gardening project, wherein participants were encouraged to plant different types of plants. Following the step-by-step instructions provided in the modules, 1 successfully carried out the gardening tasks. To capture the process, | enlisted the help of my friends, who assisted me in documenting myself can the urban gardening project. Overall, the day proved to be productive and ‘engaging, enhancing my understanding of the subjects as well as promoting a sense of community involvement. at the Dal m of the University before beginning the campus cleanup. It was ignated day for Cwts Trainees at UEP Prme to take on the task of ing the University's surroundings, with BSED Students focusing on the interior of the campus. As BSED Majors in English, we were specifically assigned the duty of maintaining the cleanliness of the Quadrangle. Equipped Upon receiving our assignment, my fellow BSED Major students and 1 diligently worked together to ensure that the Quadrangle remained in pristine condition. We dutifully utilized the cleaning materials we had brought, gently sweeping and tidying up the area. Our teamwork and effort resulted isibly cleaner and more organized Quadrangle, contributing to the cleanliness of the University campus. The experience not only reinforced the importance of maintaining a clean environment but also fostered a sense of responsibility and pride in caring for our university ‘surroundings. Saturday, March 9, 2024, all CWTS Trainees gathered at the station of the cross downstairs for a roll call and to address any absences before proceeding with the clean-up drive. This day marked the announcement by Clyde regarding the clean-up drive in one of the most frequented locations in Catubig, Northern Samar, especially during Holy Week - the Station of the Cross. Each course was assigned a designated station to ensure thei cleanliness, and the necessary cleaning materials were provided for this purpose. Following the attendance check, the clean-up drive commenced in the Station of the Cross. With each course assigned to a specific location, it was, ‘our responsibility to keep these stations tidy. Equipped with the provided cleaning materials, we diligently worked together to ensure the cleanliness and presentable state of the stations. This effort aimed to enhance the overall experience of visitors during the highly significant Holy Week period. ‘Through our dedicated actions, we aimed to maintain a clean and inspiring environment for all those who visited the Station of the Cros: On March 16, 2024, a Saturday, it was the second day dedicated to in the Station of the Cross. Before commencing the cleanup drive, all CWTS trainees gathered downstairs at the Station of the Cross for attendance. The purpose was to account for any absentees. It was also the day where Sir Clyde Announcement finally happened and it was the last day to clean the Station of the Cross as it is one of the most visited places in Catubig, Northern Samar, particularly during the Holy Week - the Station of the Cross. The cleanup drive in this setting involved assigning each course to a designated station to ensure the area remained tidy. Cleaning materi: were provided for this purpose. The cleanup drive was carried out efficiently with each course designated to a specific station. The trainees worked diligently to ensure the cleanliness of the Station of the Cross. The initiative aimed to maintain the area's pristine condition for visitors, especially during the upcoming Holy Week. The trainees’ dedication and teamwork in this cleanup effort showcased their commitment to serving the community and preserving the sanctity of this significant religious site. On March 24, 2024, it was the second of our training with the MDRRMO of Catubig reached its peak as we delved d to advanced first aid techniques. The day began with a comprehensive review of the carrios and bandaging methods we had learned in the provious. sessions. We were given the opportunity to practice these techniques once again, refining our skills and ensuring that we were proficient in their execution. Following the review, we embarked on a new topic: Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). The MDRRMO officers provided us with a detailed explanation of the importance of CPR in saving lives during cardiac emergencies. We learned about the correct hand placement, compression depth, and rhythm required to perform effective chest compressions. Additionally, we were taught the proper technique for providing rescue breaths and how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) if available. After the theoretical instruction, we were given the chance to practice CPR on mannequins under the guidance of the MDRRMO officers. This practical application allowed us to develop confidence in our ability to perform CPR correctly and efficiently. The officers closoly observed our technique, providing individual feedback and guidance to help us improv In the afternoon, we were presented with a unique opportunity to put our newly acquit skills to the test. A simulation exercise was conducted, where we were faced with various ‘emergency scenarios. Those os ranged from minor injuries to more critical situations that required immediate and decisive action. Working in teams, we had to assess the situation, prioritize the needs of the casualties, and apply the appropriate first aid techniques. This simulation exercise not only tested our technical skills but also our ability to romain calm and composed under prossure. The day concluded with a debriefing session, where we reflected on the simulation exercise and shared our learnings. The MDRRMO officers provi valuable feedback on our performance, highlighting aroas of improvement and commending us on our strengths. They omphasized the importance of continuous practice and encouraged us to pursue further training and certification in first aid. Overall, the third day of our training was a culmination of our efforts and dedication to learning first aid. We gained invaluable knowledge and practical experience in CPR and ‘emergency response. The simulation exercise challenged us to apply our skills in realistic scenarios, preparing us to confidently handle emergencies in the future. We received hands-on practice with guidance from MDRRMO officers, allowing us to gain valuable experience in handling different scenarios. This part of the training emphasized the importance of proper execution to ensure the well-being of those in need. The day concluded with a debriefing session where we shared our experiences and sought clarification on any doubts. The MDRRMO officers commended our progress and highlighted the need for continuous practice in first aid skills. The training not only equipped us with crucial skills but also fostered camaraderie among us CWTS trainees. Overall, the second day of training was challenging yet rewarding. It helped us solidify our understanding of first aid techniques through practical application. With confidence in our ability to make a positive impact during emergencies, we look forward to applying our newfound knowledge in real-life situations.
