Galatians 2:20 'I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I,
but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by
the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.'
Romans 6:6-7,12-13
”We know that our old sinful selves were crucified with Christ so that
sin might lose its power in our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin. -

For when we died with Christ we were set free from the power of sin. -

Do not let sin control the way you live; do not give in to sinful desires. -

Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve
sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but
now you have new life. So use your whole body as an instrument to do
what is right for the glory of God. -Romans 6:13
2. ALIVE IN CHRIST
The problem with most Christians is that they are part-time Christians.

2 Corinthians 3:18 ”So all of us who have had that veil removed can see
and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—
makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious
image.“
“ And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on
Christ, like putting on new clothes. Galatians 3:27
3. Living by Faith in the Son
Colossians 3:1-3, 5
”Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on
the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s
right hand. Colossians 3:1
Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. Colossians 3:2
For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God.
Colossians 3:3
”So put to death the sinful, earthly things lurking within you. Have
nothing to do with sexual immorality, impurity, lust, and evil desires.
Don’t be greedy, for a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the
things of this world.“ Colossians 3:5
