5. In the fourth stanza, how can you tell the main character is overcoming his
fear?

Interpret:
6. Re-read the first three verses and describe the mood of the poem.

7. How is use of repetition important in this poem?

8. Identify and record at least ten examples of alliteration in the poem within at
least five different stanzas. Identify by stating the stanza, line, and example.
