1. DELAYED EJACULATION
The key feature of Delayed Ejaculation (DE) is the persistent or recurrent difficulty or inability to achieve
ejaculation, despite adequate sexual stimulation. In delayed ejaculation, there is a prolonged period of
sexual activity before ejaculation, and in some cases, it may not occur at all. This delay is beyond what
would typically be expected for the individual or the situation, and it causes distress or frustration.
Delayed ejaculation can manifest in various ways, such as difficulty reaching orgasm during sexual
activity, an extended period of sexual activity without reaching climax, or the inability to ejaculate
despite a strong desire to do so. It's important to note that occasional instances of delayed ejaculation
are not uncommon, and many factors, including stress or fatigue, can contribute to temporary delays.
However, when the delay is persistent and causes distress, it may be diagnosed as a sexual dysfunction
known as Delayed Ejaculation.
