DESCRIPTION:
This platform or section was assessed by the DRA Construction Manager and
Project SHE Manager and declared as a SAFE Working Platform whereby Fall
Arrest equipment is “not” required due to current work conditions and scope.
The platform condition may change due to alterations on installed sections and
can therefore be rendered UNSAFE FOR USE that would require proper Fall
Arrest / restrain equipment.

WITHIN SAFE DECLARED PLATFORM.

 Safety harness must still be used and secured if you work on a

step ladder, over or through handrailing.
 Apply for DRA permit before any handrail or grating removal.
 Ensure sole boards used if ladder placed on grating floors.
 All pipe trestles must be fitted with base plates.
 No lifting and rigging from grating.
 No lose items on elevated floors.
 Do not lean against handrailing.
 Immediately report unsafe elevated floor conditions to
Supervisor.
