Source: (https://www.mdpi.com/2571-5577/7/1/15)

This paper designed a soft robotic gripper with rigid supports to enhance lifting force by 150 ± 20% in
comparison with that of the same gripper without supports, which successfully lifted a metallic wrench
(672 g). The soft gripper also achieves excellent adaptivity for irregularly shaped objects. The design,
fabrication, and performance of soft grippers with rigid supports are discussed in this paper.

Systems”

Source: (https://www.mdpi.com/1424-8220/24/3/974)

This paper presents an autonomous disinfection robot that reduce the likelihood of disease
transmission. The robot uses UV-C light which is one of the most effective disinfection solutions
available, the C band of UV light effectively eliminates microorganisms, including bacteria, viruses, and
fungi, like molds, but its wavelength can also affect human eyes and skin.

Integration of Artificial Intelligence, Autonomous Robots, and Sensors”

Source: (https://www.mdpi.com/2079-9292/12/18/3918)

This study proposes the implementation of a system centered around an elderly care robot that
integrates a Telegram bot to facilitate communication between the robotic system, doctors, and
caregivers. The system aims to improve elderly care by improving communication, enabling continuous
monitoring, and issuing alerts when the elderly person’s vital parameters or mental state deviate from
the normal range. The care robot acts as a virtual companion, providing emotional and practical support
to the elderly person.
