Introduction
Technology has the capacity to enhance the operation efficiency of the HRM process within
any organisation. Information technology has transformed all ways of operation in different
business departments. The key purpose of this study is to provide the role of Operation and
Technology Management (OTM) in the Human Resource Management (HRM). The main
work procedure in the human resource department and the relevant computer software to
automate work activities and the integration of the software to the HRM process have been
analysed. Further, the study has identified and explained the working of cloud computing in
human resource management, the benefits of cloud commuting with the internet to business
and workers have been illustrated to understand the role of technology in the HRM process.
Human Resource management (HRM) includes the important procedure and activities that an
organisation applies for managing the employees in a successful manner. The primary
procedure of the HRM process includes recruiting and selection, managing salary and
compensation, training and development (Arslan et al. 2022). The purpose of the HRM
process is to locate and attract qualified candidates from the opening of job to the managing
effective and positive relationship between the organisation and the employees.

According to the opinion of Piwowar-Sulej et al. (2023), apart from the managerial functions
of the HRM department -planning, organising, directing, controlling, the HRM process also
plays an integral role in talent recruitment, onboarding process, managing training, managing
proper performance appraisal for employees, managing performance appraisal. The important
function also includes managing the workforce engagement within the organisation, payroll
management, compliance management, succession planning and managing diversity and
inclusion. The key purpose of the HRM department is to manage the employee wellbeing
effectively that may bring a positive outcome to the organisation.
Talent recruitment entails discovering and selecting eligible applicants to act on the specific
role organisation needs. Creation of relevant job descriptions, advertising the opportunities,
assessing resumes, sourcing people, conducting the interview process and selection of right
candidates are the significant tasks. The HRM department can complete all these tasks set
faster by automating the procedure with computer software. Mohamed et al. (2022), stated
that talent management, performance management of the employees along with planning the
5
compensation, benefits and the salary structure are also necessary to retain the employees.
RPA is an important software boat that can be applied. Successful implementation of RPA
can improve the HRM process. RPA tools may involve an AA (Automation Anywhere), Blue
Prism, UiPath or any other tool that can stimulate the dynamic system of HRM engagement.
Managing Payrolls RPA aligns the calculator components such as wages, salary,
compensation, bonuses aligning with the policies of the organisation. Regarding the
recruitment and the onboarding process to create irrelevant job posting, fir suitable screening
and application tracking system, interview scheduling, recognising the scope, position and
recruitment of vacancies the RPA robotics can be useful in the HRM department. According
to Zhang et al. (2023), maintaining an integrated payroll system, appraisal, performance

evaluation, retaining talent and engaging employees the automation process would be greatly
beneficial.
Developing the HRMS model in collecting, sorting and accessing the staff information
mobile application RPA it needs AA tool to be selected for use. AA comes to the community
that offers free access to a complete suite of AA solutions including IQ Bot, RPA and Bot
insight as well as the important access to online marketplace. Before installing the hardware,
requirements are required to be verified properly. The RPA process in HRMs gathering, in
storing and to access important staff information module process might be segmented into
several areas.

accuracy in the result is also more effective in the case of humans than the robots that identify
an integrated structure of the HRM process with robotics application.

recognition, employee happiness at the workplace and also the benefit and talent
management. Cloud based HRM process provides greater benefits to HRM arranging the
development and learning opportunities and also managing the functional and nonfunctional
activities (Manahan et al. 2022). Tracking the staff attendance cloud computing plays an
important role. Cloud computing can be a useful option for organisations to store and process
huge amounts of data that takes the management effectiveness to a desired level (Ardebili et
al. 2023). Cloud infrastructure affects human resource management in a positive manner.
Cloud computing can be beneficial to employees and organisations in multiple ways. The
cloud computing provides more flexibility and reliability to the work structure. It plays an
important role in enhancing the performance graph and efficiency. Business can reduce the
cost of operation. Regarding the application of innovation into business procedures, cloud
computing also plays an integral role. According to the argument of Zou and Jian (2022),
cloud resource and cloud infrastructure affects the team performance and creativity of the
employees in a positive manner. The well-known cloud models used by businesses are PaaS,
SaaS and IaaS. SaaS (“Software as Service'') applications like Google suite, Microsoft 365,
Dropbox, salesforce and others are hugely applied by the organisations and it is easy to
access with internet access (George and Sagayarajan, 2023). Business can reduce the cost of
the operation eliminating the requirement of IT staff and installation on individual
computers. Customer application with PaaS (“Platform as Service’) offers cloud components
without requiring hardware infrastructure and the IaaS helps the managers to take complete
control of the cloud environment in an efficient manner. Moreover, protecting the data the
accuracy of the operation can be enhanced applying cloud computing for business. Reducing
the downtime saves cost. The integrated structure helps to make collaboration, and enhances
the capacity to share or manage data. Employees can be motivated effectively with the
cloud computing approach (Zou and Jian, 2022). Business can easily adapt with the existing
market conditions with cloud access. Business can work faster in the market that is the
notable feature to enhance the productivity rate of the organisation. The reduction of error
into the HRM procedure assures no discrimination and accurate selection helps to motivate
employees to work in an organised manner.

OPS aspects require improvement within the HRM with mobile device
HRM departs can confront a number of challenges to place the right talent at the right place
and manage the retention rate keeping the time and budget according to the estimation.
Recruitment process, onboarding, Data privacy and confidentiality are the most crucial
challenges of the Human Resource department. Muhammed et al. (2022), stated that lack of
data management can decrease the efficiency of the operation. Mobile cloud computing can
improve the area of data management in the human resource department of an organisation.
Maintaining data security in the HRM process of cloud computing can be beneficial. Mobile
computing, cloud computing and wireless networks are blended into the ''Mobile Cloud
Computing (MCC)” (Muhammed et al. 2022). Further the “Mobile Edge Computing (MEC)
technology” helps in integrated human resource management. The system can be useful to
manage the available human resources and the operation of the organisation increasing the
speed of the system (Wang, 2022). It can enhance the system performance of the HRM
department of the organisation in a highly efficient manner. The technology with the mobile
device can create better opportunities for the HRM department aiming for stronger operations
in the organisation.
Conclusion
Automation in the HRM department can evidently enhance the effectiveness and efficiency
for improving productivity. Robots may accomplish tasks continuously without human
monitoring and it can produce error-free tasks that lead towards the high-quality data
management. The information system and the HR robotics can make the outcome more
productive. Therefore, organisations can establish an integrated structure by applying the
information technology into the system. Cloud based systems enhance the effectiveness of
the operation management aspect of business. Reducing the cost of operation and enhancing
the collaboration of cloud technology brings a greater system. The mobile cloud technology
can control systems with more interactivity. The cloud infrastructure can strengthen the
function of the HRM process reducing the error and total time of the HR process that can
improve flexibility in organisational performance based on specific requirements.
Organisations today can utilise the technology-based system for integrating the human
resource management process with greater efficiency and it is needed to ensure a greater
advantage in business.
