HR Recruitment Management
Recruitment refers to the process of attracting, screening, and selecting qualified individuals.
ITC recruitment process involves 7 steps-
1. Database Search
2. Advertising
3. Networking and Referrals
4. Processing of applicants
5. Submission and Interview
6. Feedback and Offer
7. Commencement and Retention
A recruiting database is a useful tool which contains all information on jobs and candidates,
matching applicants with the job and the entire recruitment process data. ITC uses SAP
Success factors recruiting software to optimize its recruitment process.
 The software helps to find past applicants and candidates with continuously update
new applicants whenever there is an opening.
 The software is pre-set with a set of rules that enables the company to automate its job
vacancy advertisement to the right recruitment sources that produce the best
candidates.
 SAP enables ITC to have a one-page employee referral form which allows the
employee to fill in their details and details of candidates they are referring to proper
mapping as per current openings.
 The applicant administration component of the SAP HR module allows ITC to record
all applicant related data and to co-ordinate and monitor all the steps involved in the
recruitment processing of applicants. All applicants are assigned to applicant groups
based on the type of work they have applied for. SAP archiving helps to protect all the
applicant's resumes and documents against damage and loss of data.
 Once all resumes and job applications have been received, the SAP handles all
applicant related correspondence. Depending on the status of the applicant within the
recruitment process, (resume received, applicant rejected, an applicant to be invited
for an interview, etc.) different standard letters can be printed out using the mail
merge function.
 Selecting the right suitable candidate is a tough and challenging process so HR starts
with making a comprehensive job description which should contain job title, salary,
and location, and requirements — such as education, skills, abilities, and experience
and the description should also include the reporting relationships and duties and
responsibilities defined as essential to the position. Applicants within SAP undergo
two types of selection process- overall procedure considering any suitable vacancy
and individual selection procedure for a specific vacancy to which the applicant has
been assigned. The selection procedure is only completed when all participating
applicants have been assigned the status of rejected or to be hired.
 SAP offers direct candidate feedback on ITC recruiting process, decreasing the
likelihood of candidates releasing their feedback on popular employer ranking portals.
Additionally, it gives an insight into the recruiting process from a candidate
perspective and can aid in improving the recruiting process continuously to secure a
competitive advantage in recruiting the best talent.

Reimbursement process
In cases such as client meetings and office supplies runs, an employee may end up using their
cash and credit accounts to cover the costs generated as a result of conducting business
activities as representative for their organization. These payments made by employees are
considered eligible for expense reimbursements. Such monetary returns are repaid to
employees to compensate for personal expenses they incurred in their performance of their
job duties on behalf of their employer, and that is external to the calculation of their regular
pay.
The end goal of expense reimbursement is to ensure that work-associated transactions are
administered and settled with efficiency, accuracy, and accountability to the satisfaction of
both the employer and the employee.
