Background:
Zim-TTECH is seeking highly qualified and experienced applicants to fill the position of Siyakha
Champion for the DREAMS program in Mashonaland East - Seke district: Ward 10 x 1, Ward 18
x 1. Zim-TTECH's activities occur primarily in the technical areas of health system strengthening;
health workforce development; operations research and evaluation; prevention, care and treatment of
infectious diseases. Zim-TTECH is funded by PEPFAR through the Center for Disease Control to
implement HIV & TB treatment and care services in five Zimbabwean provinces in support of the
Ministry of Health and Childcare (MoHCC) under the Zim-PAAC (Zimbabwe Partnership to
Accelerate AIDS Control) program. The contract is for 6 months effective April 2024 to 29
September 2024.

Position Summary

Successful candidates shall work under the direct supervision of the Economic Strengthening Officer.
Candidates in liaison with the CBM shall; participate in the screening, enrolment, and service delivery
for AGYWs reached by the program, deliver the ISAL curriculum to Adolescent Girls and Young
Women (AGYW) aged 15-24 years to improve household economic resilience, support and monitor
formation of savings groups, and facilitate linkages of AGYW to markets, finance and vocational
skills training.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

A minimum of 5 O’levels with a pass in English, should be someone who can comprehend content in
English. Prior experience in counselling, youth advocacy, community mobilisation, volunteer work
and youth empowerment is an added advantage. Candidates must be aged between 18-25 and must be
resident in Seke district. Prospective candidates should be females of good repute, passionate and
committed in sexual reproductive health and rights of AGYWs and should come from the
implementation ward.
