PROJECT TITLE: “ Wealth in Numbers: Mathematical Data Management for Strategic

Financial Planning “

A) Project Overview

1. Introduction
- An explanation of the correlation of Pearson r and the Linear Regression
( Scatterplot and Line of Best Fit ). Provide examples and include formulas and
solutions.
- Research and give real-world situations (bank insurance, investments, loans, retails,
and bank saving accounts)

2. Video Presentation
- Introduction of the Topic
- An explanation of the chosen real-world situations.
- Present formulas and calculations by using correlation of Pearson R and the Linear
Regression depending on the situations given.
- Present visual remarks and charts to provide illustrations of the financial progress
over time.
- Provide surveys or interviews with individuals who are using strategic financial
planning in their daily lives to highlight the real-world relevance of these
mathematical concepts.

3. Data Gathering
- Design and conduct a survey to gather data on people’s understanding and usage of
data management through their strategic planning in their financial decisions.

4. Conclusion
- Each member should reflect on the importance of mathematical concepts in doing
strategic financial planning.
- Discuss how the project relates to the goal of “Mathematics in the Modern World”.
