Dear Parents/Guardians,

Welcome to Kindergarten! I am delighted to have the opportunity to be your child's teacher this
year and I am eagerly looking forward to a year filled with growth, learning, and fun adventures.

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Chantelle Abarca, and I am thrilled to be a part of

your child's educational journey. I have a passion for early childhood education and believe in
creating a nurturing and supportive learning environment where every child feels valued and
encouraged to explore and discover.

As we begin this exciting journey together, I want to share with you some important information
about our classroom procedures:

Our day will start with a warm welcome and a chance for your child to settle in and prepare for a
day of learning. Please ensure that your child arrives on time each day to participate in our
morning routine.

We will learn and practice important rules such as sharing, taking turns, and showing kindness
and respect to our classmates and teachers. Encourage your child to follow these rules both at
school and at home.

Our daily schedule will include a variety of engaging activities designed to promote social,
emotional, physical, and academic development. I will provide you with a detailed schedule so
you know what your child will be learning each day.

In addition to classroom procedures, I want to provide you with information regarding grading,
homework assignments, and communication guidelines:

In Kindergarten, our focus is on growth and progress rather than traditional grading. I will
provide you with regular updates on your child's development and milestones.

While formal homework assignments are not typically given in Kindergarten, I encourage you to
engage in daily reading with your child and reinforce basic skills such as letter recognition,
counting, and writing at home.

Open communication between home and school is essential for your child's success. Please
feel free to reach out to me via email or phone if you have any questions, concerns, or would
like to schedule a meeting to discuss your child's progress. I value your input and partnership in
your child's education.

Thank you for entrusting me with your child's education. I am committed to providing them with
a positive and enriching Kindergarten experience that lays the foundation for a lifetime of
learning.

Sincerely,
Chantelle Abarca
