Note
Veterinary Officers are required to work outside normal working hours, at
night, on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.
The permanent and pensionable post carries salary in scale Rs 36,550 x 900
– 37,450 x 950 – 42,200 x 1,300 – 46,100 x 1,575 – 49,250 x 1,650 – 54,200
x 1,700 – 64,400 a month.
V. FRINGE BENEFITS
NOTE
1. Veterinary Officers will be allowed to move incrementally in the Master
Salary Scale up to salary point Rs 69,800 subject to certain
conditions.
2. Veterinary Officers are required to be on-call after their normal
working hours, for providing 24-hour service to the breeding
community, against payment of:
(a) an allowance as follows: -
Weekdays
15 30 hours to 09 00 hours the next day Rs 445
Saturdays
Noon to 18 00 hours Rs 210
18 00 hours to 09 00 hours the following day Rs 345
Sundays and Public Holidays
09 00 hours to 17 00 hours Rs 290
17 00 hours to 09 00 hours the following day Rs 395
