Course Outline
( Geometry )

Classroom Policies:
1. Be respectful to everyone, students and teachers alike.
2. Classroom appropriate language only.
3. Listen when others are speaking.
4. Sit in your assigned seat.
5. Use technology when appropriate.

Suggested Materials:
1. Graph paper
2. Ruler
3. Protractor
4. Compass
5. Scientific or Graphing Calculator
6. Pencils, mechanical pencils preferred

Homework:
Homework will be assigned daily. It is to be competed and turned in the following day, at the
beginning of class. Homework will be graded on completeness.
Students are also expected to bring a charged Chromebook to class everyday.

Grading:
It is important to come to class everyday. If there is an uncontrollable event, work may be made
up, with the appropriate paperwork (e.g. doctor’s note).

Course Weighting: Grading Scale:

1. Tests (45% of your grade) 90-100% A
2. Finals (10% of your grade) 80-89% B
3. Quizes (15% of your grade) 70-79% C
4. Homework (20% of your grade) 60-69% D
5. Participation (5% of your grade) Below F
6. Projects (5% of your grade)

Miscellaneous:
- Bathroom Policy: One person at a time. Bathroom pass needed.
- Cell Phones: Not used in class unless otherwise stated by teacher.
- Tutoring: Students should ask questions if they are unclear about a topic. I am also
available during lunch and by appointment.
