XACT SHORT TERM MINE SCHEDULING

This is XACT

PURPOSE
The purpose of this course is to provide solid beginner
level understanding of XACT mine scheduling software.
HOW WE DO IT
The course will take users through a typical open cut
XACT model. We follow the typical steps used to create
a model and, along the way, highlight any traps
attendees may face in the process. We discuss real
world challenges faced during XACT scheduling and
how to overcome them.
COURSE OUTLINE
DAY 1
This module of training will focus on the tools used
most commonly by XACT workgroup users with
Scheduler and Read Only capability. It will also provide
a basic outline of the fundamental components of an
XACT model.
DAY 2
Training is targeted at the Developer mode, looking at
key functions such as expressions, advanced
dependencies, parameters databases/curves and so
forth. Focussed around capability only available in the
Builder/Maintenance and Validator modes.

WHAT YOU LEARN

At the completion of the course, the user will be able
to competently schedule with a basic XACT model.
