CONCLUSION:

Resistors are passive electronic components that are used to control the
flow of electric current in a circuit. They come in various shapes and
sizes. The color bands on a resistor provide important information about
its characteristics, including its resistance value and tolerance.

In this laboratory activity we’ve identified the resistance value of each

resistor and its tolerance through color coding. Furthermore we’ve
tested each resistor in a multimeter to verify if each resistor’s tolerance
will match it’s actual value.

In summary, resistor color coding is a valuable tool for quickly

identifying the resistance value, tolerance, and expected actual value of
a resistor in electronic circuits. Engineers and electronics experts use
this information to select the appropriate resistors for their applications
and to ensure that the resistors meet the required specifications and
tolerances. While the color code provides a useful starting point, it's
necessary to verify the actual resistance value through measurement,
especially in critical applications where precision is important.
