TECHNICAL BULLETIN
CT BAR 4.1 is a high quality drilling grade Barite (Barium Sulphate) used to increase
the density of drilling fluids. It is the most widely used drilling weight material due to its
high specific gravity. It meets API 13A Specification.
APPLICATION
It is used to increase the density of any mud system while maintaining rheological
properties
ADVANTAGES
• It does not react with other drilling Fluids or hamper their functioning
• It is chemically inert and insoluble
