Tips:
● Get a comfortable face mask, NOT MEDICAL, because you will have to wear it the
whole time.
● You need an average of 1.2 minute per question, so manage your time.
● If you know the answer, choose it and move on.
● If you are not sure, first do the process of elimination (strike through) the answers that
are wrong, then pick one and MARK the question so you could return to it later.
● Always remember your basics, don’t overthink it. I will explain how later.
● Bring with you (protein bar, juice and vegetable) also tylenol or motrin.

● Remembered Questions as much as you can do, 50% of questions were almost exactly
from remembered.
Now for the questions, I can’t remember the easy or the usual ones, but am pretty sure that
when you see them in the exam, you will know them right away. When you read the
remembered, there will be lots of repeated questions, most of them actually came in the exam.
Read anything about patient management, lots of questions.

● Non Hodhkin’s lymphoma. (I chose this, in the history he is taking Cyclosporine, so, I
assumed he has thrombocytopenia and also can’t tolerate infections very well)

Q. Case: An adult missing both upper laterals, there is a space between centrals and canines
but from the picture, it was not enough to place a bridge. The question was: how do you treat
this patient?
● Place a bridge.
● Reduce canines and central and place a bridge.
● Create a space orthodontically and place an implant (answer).
The other question was what type of occlusion this man has? Pay attention and use your paper.
The answer was: class 2 on the right side, class 1 on the left. (based on canine relationship)
Q. An adult patient is missing his wisdom teeth, what is the most appropriate reason for missing
his third molars?
● Trauma
● Medication

Q. you will perform an extraction on a third molar for an adult with a peptic ulcer. The question
does not say what type of extraction or what is the pain level!
What pain medication combination will you give to this patient?
● Acetaminophen with Oxycodone.
● Aspirin with codeine.
● Ibuprofen with Oxycodone.
● Acetaminophen with Naproxen. (I chose this, since the rest are either schedule ll or
powerful opioids, Aspirin is out of the question since the patient has peptic ulcer.
Naproxen is NSAID and I know it causes irritation but not as powerful as Aspirin, Also
Naproxen has a long half life (8 hours) and it is recommended for people with pain who
want to have a pain-free sleep.
Q. An edentulous patient, and you want to measure VDO. the choices were very confusing,
however the answer was this.
● Have the patient pronounce the letter F to measure the rest position.
Q. about four to five questions regarding mid-root, and apical root fracture and how manage the
patient. Read this subject well.
Q. A patient has a furcation involvement in her lower first molar. Does not mention the grade.
Also the mentioned tooth has a big Amalgam filling, and you performed a successful endo
treatment. What is the most correct course of treatment to restore this tooth?
● Extraction.

remember them, but am pretty sure you will do the same.
