ARCHI+TECH is the first club established at SAP+D, by students and for
students. ARCHI+TECH's vision is to contribute to architectural expertise while
considering the rapid evolution of technological solutions and to stimulate
architectural design by incorporating elements of Industry 4.0, allowing us to
gain practical knowledge in both low-tech and high-tech along the way. This
would add significant value to the true realm of creativity and design, pushing
the boundaries further towards constructing a better sustainable
environment for the future. Our values are experimentation, open-
mindedness, and innovation.

4
The College of Computing, located at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University
(UM6P) in the Green City of Benguerir, establishes itself as a leading institution
in Computer Science education and research, offering world-class university
education led by esteemed professors and researchers, while promoting
discovery and innovation in Computer Science. Their mission focuses on
educating and training the future generation of computer scientists,
researchers, and engineers through innovative and specialized curricula that
span from undergraduate to doctoral levels. Conducting world-class research
and development projects that advance our understanding of computer
science and its application, creating new knowledge, and driving innovation.

CODING SCHOOL

I CODE, YOU CODE, WE CODE…

1337 is the first to provide IT training in Morocco, completely free of charge,

open and accessible to anyone between the ages of 18 and 30. No need for
an IT degree, or of having undergone extensive IT training. The only criteria
for admission in Treize, Trente-Sept is CREATIVITY.
The Treize, Trente-Sept educational approach is based on peer-learning. A
participatory operating style allowing students to unleash their creativity
through project-based learning. To train the future coders of tomorrow, we
had to rethink learning. We had to make IT something fun, exciting and at
odds with the restrictive vision that the general public may have about it.
1337 is the coding school par excellence, completely free of charge and
accessible to all with no prerequisite of a degree. It offers a full immersion in
a universe where the future is already present. Where IT and the lines of
code are way more than a vague and off-putting concept…

Treize, Trente-Sept, a forward-looking school from the present.

EVENT
LOCAL DOMOTICS COMPETITION

You want to measure yourself against others while assessing your own skills
and performance in design, IoT, and AI . You want to demonstrate your talent
by facing new opponents, The LOCAL DOMOTICS COMPETITION in its 4th
EDITION is here as a great opportunity not only to apply the skills you've
developed but also to learn and overcome new challenges .

4TH EDITION
The ARCHI+TECH club, in collaboration with the 1337 department and CS , invites you
to their most significant event on campus. It's the 4th edition of the LOCAL
DOMOTICS COMPETITION , which will be held at the Mohammed VI Polytechnic
University campus in the Green City of Ben Guerir on Friday, Saturday, Sunday -
17,18 and 21 of May 2024.
A 38-hour Hackathon will be open to young enthusiasts of design, and technology .
7
THEME
PAVILION

We are pleased to announce that in this competition, we

challenge the students to create a dynamic and interactive space
that combines cutting-edge technologies in architecture AI and
robotics.

2
The aim is to create within an area of 500 m a nostalgic space in
which the visitors can relive an immersive experience of their
childhood or previous cultural or artistic vogues, an old era of
time and space ...

The students are asked to conceptualize a space which can be a

pavilion, a museum, or any other sort of expositioning spaces,
that allow visitors to dive into a special and creative experience
of Nostagia that can take different and diversified forms .

ELEMENTS TO PRESENT :

In this edition the most significant and important part of the

challenge
will be to express the project through the MODEL on a first level.
You are not asked to present ARCHITECTURAL elements such as
plans, Facades, elevations ..., the aim is to be able to transmit the
project’s value through a well designed interactive MODEL of a
high level combining Architecture and technology.
The Model will be accompanied with any medium presenting the
concept.
PS : any additional architectural elements of your choice are
welcomed to be presented and are optional.
Apart from the main model, zoom models are optional if any
team prefered to emphasis on a certain part or aspect of the
project .

8
THEME
PAVILION

The technological part can bring a multitude of innovative ideas

and technical expertise to the competition focused on creating an
immersive experience of nostalgia in pavilions or exhibition
spaces. Here are some ways they can contribute:

Implement AI algorithms to analyze visitor behavior and

preferences. Using machine learning, AI can personalize the
experience by adapting exhibits, lighting, or even sounds
based on individual interests, creating a more nostalgic
journey for each visitor.

Use IoT devices to create an interconnected environment.

Sensors can detect visitor movements, triggering specific
reactions within the space.
Create interactive installations within the pavilion. This might
involve touch-sensitive screens, motion detectors, or gesture
recognition to engage visitors in nostalgic experiences, such
as interactive timelines, nostalgic gaming corners, or digital
storytelling walls.
Implement smart automation systems using coding and IoT
devices to control various elements within the model. This
could include automated displays, moving parts, or
dynamically changing environments to evoke nostalgic
memories in visitors.

Please note that the team work should be consistent, and both
Architectural and technological aspects should be treated in harmony

Your mission is to exceed the ordinary and impress us with your use of
technology and design . We're looking for a fresh, inventive approach
that will set your entry apart from the rest. Are you up for the
challenge? Get ready to innovate and step into the spotlight!

PS : Please note that the technological part will be split between the 1337 and CC
students into two parts :
AI will be taken in charge by CC students
ROBOTICS will be taken in charge by 1337 students .
