Title: “Harmony in Healing Bonds”

NARRATOR : In the heart of the hospital, two patients, Hazel and Jesa ,
embark on their recovery journeys. Nurses Natasha and Michaella, guided by
Joyce Travelbee’sHuman-to-Human Relationship Model, aim to create
meaningful connections.

Natasha : Good morning,Jesa! How are you feeling today?

Jesa : A bit overwhelmed, to be honest. I’m not used to being in a hospital.
Michaella : Hi, Hazel. I’m Michaella, your nurse. We’re here to support you
every step of the way.
Hazel : Thanks, but I usually prefer dealing with things on my own.

NARRATOR :Observant Natasha notices Jesa’s unease,

while Michaella senses Hazel’s independent nature. They delve deeper,
discovering Jesa’s fear of medical procedures and Hazel’s past experiences
that led to his self-reliance. Jesa lost her mother at a young age during a
medical operation. She believe that this is due to negligence. Meanwhile, Hazel
prepare to take matters on her own.

Natasha : Jesa, I understand hospitals can be intimidating. Let’s work together

to make your stay more comfortable.
Michaella : Hazel, I appreciate your self-sufficiency. We’re a team, and I’m here
to support you.

NARRATOR : Natasha and Michaella, guided by empathy, build trust by

acknowledging and addressing the emotional aspects of Jesa and Hazel’s
recoveries. They gradually built a positive feeling of security by genuinely
providing open communication and validation to their feelings.

Jesa : As a person with her own experiences and feelings, you’ve treated me
beyond.
Natasha : Jesa, you’re not just a patient; you’re an individual with unique
needs. We’ll find a balance that works for you.
Hazel : Michaella, I appreciate your approach. It’s refreshing to have someone
respect my need for self-reliance.
Michaella : Hazel, part of my role is not just to administer and check vitals to
alleviate your suffering during your recovery but also to understand your
concerns and provide emotional support. Building human-to-
human connection helps me understand you better and tailor your care
accordingly.

NARRATOR: The connection deepens as Natasha and Michaella continue to

provide not only medical care but also emotional support, embracing the
essence of the Human-to-Human Relationship Model. The patients have been
enlightened about their pasts and open themselves to trust their nurses.

Natasha : Jesa, let’s discuss any concerns you have. Your comfort is essential
to your recovery.
Michaella : Hazel , I’m here to support you, whether it’s medical concerns or
just someone to talk to.
