embark on their recovery journeys. Nurses Natasha and Michaella, guided by
Joyce Travelbee’sHuman-to-Human Relationship Model, aim to create
meaningful connections.
Jesa : As a person with her own experiences and feelings, you’ve treated me
beyond.
Natasha : Jesa, you’re not just a patient; you’re an individual with unique
needs. We’ll find a balance that works for you.
Hazel : Michaella, I appreciate your approach. It’s refreshing to have someone
respect my need for self-reliance.
Michaella : Hazel, part of my role is not just to administer and check vitals to
alleviate your suffering during your recovery but also to understand your
concerns and provide emotional support. Building human-to-
human connection helps me understand you better and tailor your care
accordingly.
Natasha : Jesa, let’s discuss any concerns you have. Your comfort is essential
to your recovery.
Michaella : Hazel , I’m here to support you, whether it’s medical concerns or

recovery.
