1. Remove valve guides with tool (A).

Install Valve Guides 1104-012

1. Put clean engine oil on the outside of the valve


guides.

2. Use tooling (A) to install the valve guides. Install the


valve guides so that dimension (X) is 32.0 ± 0.8 mm
(1.27 ± .03 in.). The inside diameter of the guides must
be 9.479 ± 0.020 mm (.3732 ± .0008 in.). The maximum
diameter for used guides is 9.545 mm (.3758 in.).

Inlet and Exhaust Valve Guides 1. Use Tooling (A) and a suitable hammer in order to
remove valve guides (1) from the cylinder head.
- Remove and Install
2. Repeat the procedure for the remaining valve
guides.

1. Lubricate the outside of valve guides (1) with clean
engine oil. Use Tooling (A) to install valve guides
(1). Install valve guides (1) so that Dimension (A)
is 26 ± 0.8 mm (1.024 ± 0.032 inch).
