This workbook is designed to aid the students’ knowledge through different writing activities
aligned with the Most Essential Learning Competency (MELC) of Creative Writing. It also aims to
acquaint students with the writing, reading, and thinking abilities that they will require to achieve their
learning objectives. It places a strong emphasis on expository, reflective, and personal writing and forces
students to acquire critical reading abilities. These skills will help them analyze the various writing
strategies and techniques they can use to enhance their writing. It also offers helpful recommendations,
ideas, and direction. Students will also complete a self-evaluation or reflection that details their
strengths and weaknesses as a writer and outlines some of their goals for the quarter.
The learners are required to create an output that will serve as the foundation for their
comprehension of the topics covered in the second quarter. This workbook includes a variety of tasks
that will improve their reading skills and help them understand the material much better; as a result,
learners should make sure that they are dedicated to completing each activity before moving on to the
next.
