• Renewal of Registration of firms by self certification
• Defence Production target $25 Bn by 2025
Govt Policy Initiatives : Defence Sector

• Rs 20 Lakh Cr for Atmanirbhar Bharat’, Make in India & Start Up India for
self-reliance.
• 75% (Rs 1 Lakh Cr) yearly capital (New) Procurement from Domestic
Defence industries from year 2022-23.
• 100% Foreign Direct investment (FDI) through Govt route & 74% FDI
(earlier 49%) through automatic route
• Defence exports presently INR 35,000 Cr, to triple in next 3 yrs
• Two dedicated defence industries corridors in progress in TN & UP spread
