Application for an Offshore Humanitarian visa
Refugee and Humanitarian (Class XB) visa

Dear sir/ Madam,

My name is MortazaTaheri , date of birth 22, March,1999, Place of Birth, Herat Afghanistan.
Currently I live in cumhuriyet mahallesi sogut sokak insaat b1 blok no 2 dayere 35
beylikduzu ,Istanbul Turkey.

In reference to the announcement of Ministry of home affair of Australia for providing

humanitarian visa to vulnerable afghans, I am sending you my application for Humanitarian visa
for Afghans.

In 2021, our government was collapsed and therefore I am unable to return to Afghanistan
because I will be prosecuted by Taliban due to following factors.

1. I worked as a Driver for Ahmad Behzad, a politician and former member of parliament
from Herat province.
2. I took part in a protest on July 23, 2016, where 97 individuals lost their lives and 260
were wounded

Witnessing the tragic loss of 97 lives during the demonstration deeply affected me on an
emotional level. In addition, I had been employed as a driver for Ahmad Behzad, a parliament
representative from Herat province. However, given the circumstances, I faced the challenging
choice to depart the country, and eventually, I made my way to Turkey.

In Turkey, we have temporary protection from government and we live here legally on
temporary residence permit, but we face deportation risk, therefore I kindly ask the government
of Australia to grant us humanitarian visa under new scheme of 2023 which promise 26500 visa
for Afghans who live in Turkey.

I hope you consider my application and grant me an asylum visa.

Thank you
MortazaTaheri
