General Information
Meals: At two-day rounds, we provide one meal per day. At one-day rounds, we provide two meals. Hungry scholars may also want to bring extra snacks!
The spelling of student names on this registration form will be used for all nametags, certificates, and records. Please be very careful; we often receive
Names:
registrations with misspelled student names.
At most rounds, we run two divisions: Senior and Junior. Teams with all students born on or after January 1, 2010 can register as Junior or Senior teams.
Divisions: Any team with at least one student born before that date is automatically a Senior team. At some rounds, due to capacity constraints and other balancing
considerations, we may need to further subdivide or adjust these divisions; we will do our best to give at least one week notice of any changes.
Students may participate in one regional round per World Scholar’s Cup “theme” season. Please email us if you have any questions regarding a student’s
Eligibility:

Cancellations: While registrations are non-refundable, fees may be transferred to a replacement participant or credited 50% toward future participation.
Financial Aid: Limited funds may be available to assist students in need. Please contact us for details if this situation applies to one or more of your scholars.

Team Roster
There is no limit to the number of teams from a school. Most schools send at least 4; the record is over 100. Two-member teams are welcome, but face scoring limitations.
Feel free to complete two-member teams with a third scholar from another school. If you have a solo scholar, ask about matching them to another school’s incomplete team.

Required Debate Judges (DJs)
You must designate at least one adult to represent the delegation as a debate judge. Delegations with more than one team must register at least one adult for every three
teams in order for all their teams to be entered in the debates. Training takes place at the event. At two-day rounds, they are only needed on Day 1. Parents, alumni, and other
community members are welcome. If your delegation cannot meet this requirement, please contact us to see if an exemption may be available.
