SCENE #10 | Father yet brother

Actors: Roniel and Mr. Michael and the Bishop

Scene synopsis:

Years after Roniel's ordination, Mr. Michael finally decided to pursue his calling to the
priesthood, and he sought his son's permission to do so. Roniel was initially surprised by his
father's decision, but he knew that the priesthood was a calling that Mikko had always felt
drawn to, and he respected his father's choice.

Mr. Michael's decision to become a priest meant that he would have to leave behind all his
familial obligations and responsibilities, and Roniel understood that it was a sacrifice that his
father was willing to make in order to serve God's people.

After years of studying and training, Mr. Michael was finally ordained as a priest, and he and
Roniel shared the same banquet to celebrate their ordinations. However, this was no
ordinary family gathering. They were no longer father and son, but brothers in the
priesthood.

Their familial obligations and roles were set aside, and they both understood that their
fraternal responsibility to serve God's people was of utmost importance. They shared stories
and experiences of their own journey to the priesthood, and how God had called them to
serve Him in different ways.

As the night went on, it was clear that the bond between Mr. Michael and Roniel had grown
stronger, not just as father and son, but as brothers united in their mission to serve God's
people. They both knew that their journey towards the priesthood was not easy, but they
were grateful for the opportunity to serve God and fulfil their calling, together.

The story reminds us of the future of individuality. No one knows where to start and end, no
one knows how to continue and stop. But as long as the mercy of God is concerned, one's
life is willed already. The story also reminds us of the importance of communication, that
man is innately social, uses not just language to communicate but the mind and heart to one
another. Leaving the life we were supposed to live on wont stop us to achieve the ultimate
goal of our hearts. The story reminds us of one's faithfulness to the vocation, that whatever
happens, despites the weaknesses and hindrances, we are called in our most special ways.

The end.
