RADIOWAVE PROPAGATION

SIGNALS
3G (THIRD GENERATION)
Faster data transmission rates were made possible,
enhancing the multimedia capabilities of portable
devices. Users could access the internet, send and
receive emails, and take advantage of video calling
and streaming services with 3G. It offered data
transfer rates between a few hundred kilobits per
second and a few megabits per second.
4G (FOURTH GENERATION)
Compared to 3G networks, it provided even faster data
transfer rates, increased capacity, and lower latency.
Faster downloads, smoother HD video streaming, and
support for more sophisticated applications and services
were all made possible by 4G. Although actual speeds
varied based on network conditions and infrastructure,
theoretical peak download speeds on 4G networks could
reach hundreds of megabits per second (Mbps).
LTE STANDS FOR LONG-TERM EVOLUTION
a key element of 4G networks and a wireless communication
standard. Compared to earlier generations of mobile
communication technology, it is intended to offer high-speed data
transmission and improved network performance.

As the main technology for 4G networks, LTE has gained

widespread adoption throughout the world. On smartphones,
tablets, and other mobile devices, it has made high-speed mobile
internet, video streaming, online gaming, and other data-intensive
applications widely accessible.
5G (FIFTH GENERATION)
It represents a significant improvement in terms of connectivity,
latency, speed, and capacity. In comparison to 4G, 5G networks
offer significantly faster data transfer rates, with theoretical peak
rates exceeding several gigabits per second (Gbps). This makes it
possible to communicate with real-time applications like
autonomous vehicles, remote surgery, and Internet of Things (IoT)
devices while also enabling ultra-fast downloads, seamless 4K/8K
video streaming, and low-latency communication. Additionally, 5G
supports a significantly greater number of concurrently connected
devices, which promotes the growth of smart cities and
sophisticated industrial applications.
