throughout theworld.Alltheceramicpartsaresafeto handle,andaredesignedto be easilyreplacedby the
installer,
serviceengineer, or the consumer.

Thisfireusesa pairof hardceramic(porcelain)mouldedfrontcoals(Figure12 below)whichshould


be handledwithcare.Viewingfromthe frontthereis a cut-outfor pilotviewing.

Eachpieceshouldbe placedintoitscorrectpositioninlurn,withthe'coal'shapes facinglhe installer,


locatingthetwo retaininglugsintotherectangularslotsinthefrontedgeof theburneras shownin Figure12
below.Gentlypushdownwards untilthecoalpiecesarelocatedsecurely,andthe slottedareaontheirlower
surlacetouchesthe burnerbase.

to assist.
Likethe Senatorthe Libertyweighsaround28 kgs (60lbs).lf you haveanydoubtof yourabilityto
easilylift or removethiscomponent, you shouldask someoneto assist.Dueto the curvednatureof the
casedesignLibertyrequirescarefulliftingontothe heatengine,if you utilisethe convectionair or fender
apertures for liftingbe carefulnotto passyourfingersthroughtheaperturesduethe possibilty
of pinching
whenofferingup to the engine.

a positionsquareto the sealingflangeof the appliance, some1" (25mm)aboveand awayfromthe four
locationslotsformedin the sheetmetalof the chassissealingframe(Figure22 below).

Holdingthe firefronta littleabovethetop surfaceof the chassissealingflange,locatethe fixinglugs


intothe slotsprovidedin the sealingflange,pushcarefullytowardsthe fireplace,and GENTLYlowerthe
component ontothe hearthensuringthatnodamageoccursto thefinishof thefacia,or to thehearthmaterial
itself.

All four fixinglugs shouldlocateintothe slots,and the firefrontshouldsit squarelyon the hearth,
locatingagainstthe verticalsurfaceof the fireplace.
