Shifting of material and leveling work from Plot 9130673 to 9131414 at Madinat Hind 3
Note: -
1) The contractor shall obtain all the necessary NOCs from the concerned service authorities, including
Demarcation, building permit from DM Building Department through DM approved consultant appointed
by Contractor.
2) The contractor shall obtain RTA permissions, if any are required.

3) The contractor is responsible for the removal of any other debris as per the site requirements and
attached drawings by obtaining necessary required permissions and NOCs from the concerned
authorities, if any required.

4) The contractor shall submit shop drawings for each work and materials for Engineer Approval.

General Notes
1) The bidders in their own interest may visit the site in co-ordination with the Engineer, if required, to
assess the job requirements, site conditions and the infrastructure facilities available there, before
submission of the bids. The contractor shall be responsible for including all the items which are not
mentioned in the Scope of Work but are deemed to be considered important in order to complete
the installations.
2) The contractor submits workshop drawing for the approval of DM engineer before starting the work.
3) The samples of materials to be submitted for approval of DM Engineer before starting the work. No
material without the approval shall be used for this project.
4) The dimensions given are approximate. Actual dimensions to be taken at site.
5) The site should be cleaned properly after the end of each day’s work.
6) Coordinate with end user and site maintenance team and strict adherence to end user instructions
for execution of job, and adherence to all safety rules and regulations.

7) If any site constraints, existing structure, or existing systems obstruct execution of contract scope,
contractor at his own cost shall dismantle and reinstate the same safely without any damages.
8) All materials to be stored in the designated covered area with prior permission.
9) The completion period will be 25 days only.
10) Waste material to be taken to disposal site or/as directed by the Engineer.
11) Care should be taken to avoid inconvenience to the public/staff/environment/ traffic.
12) The quotation should be on a lump sum price basis.
13) Payment terms shall be on a monthly basis as per progress of work and subject to approval from
concerned D.M. Project engineer.
14) A warning sign inscribed “Work in Progress” shall be displayed wherever necessary.
15) If any damage to the fitting or accessories or any other property, whether public or private, occurs
during the execution, the Contractor shall make good the same at his cost. However, if the repair
work is found unsatisfactory in accordance with DM standards, DM has the right to stop the
Contractor and appoint another at the Contractor’s expense.
16) The contractor is also required to ensure a high degree of workmanship is achieved in all respects.
Fully qualified tradesmen shall execute every point of work.
17) DM reserves the right to accept any bid or reject any or all the bids without assigning any reason or
obligation.
18) Delay penalty will be imposed as per DM regulations.
19) The contractors shall deposit 10% bank guarantee if the contract price is
Dh. 100,000.00. (One hundred thousand) or exceeding within 7 days from the date of acceptance
letter issued to contractor.
20) Contractor shall carry insurance and submit documents effective prior to the commencement of any
work under this Contract, and such insurance shall be maintained in full force and effect at all times
work is performed and/or this Contract is in effect.
