Project Proposal: Database System for

SCP-2024 and AFO-2023

Project Overview
The goal of this project is to design and implement a robust database system that
supports the management of SCP-2024 and AFO-2023. The system will incorporate
biometric authentication, retirement notifications, and staff role management.
Additionally, it will facilitate remote access for clients.

Project Components
1. Database System:

 Develop a centralized database to store information related to SCP-2024 and

AFO-2023.
 Ensure data security, integrity, and scalability.
 Implement efficient data retrieval and storage mechanisms.

2. Biometric Machine Integration:

 Integrate biometric devices (such as fingerprint scanners) for user authentication.

 Establish secure communication between the biometric machine and the
database.
 Implement biometric-based access control for authorized personnel.

3. Web Camera Integration:

 Incorporate web cameras for capturing visual data.

 Enable real-time image capture and storage.
 Integrate camera feeds with the database for event logging and monitoring.

4. Picture Management:

 Develop a module for storing and managing pictures associated with SCP-2024
and AFO-2023.
 Allow users to upload, view, and search for relevant images.
 Implement metadata tagging for efficient retrieval.

5. Biometric Data Handling:

 Store biometric data securely.

 Implement encryption and access controls.
 Ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
6. Retirement Notification System:

 Create an automated notification system for retiring staff members.

 Notify relevant stakeholders (administrators, supervisors) when retirement
eligibility criteria are met.
 Archive retired staff records appropriately.

7. Staff Role Management:

 Define user roles (e.g., administrators, staff, supervisors) within the system.
 Assign appropriate permissions based on roles.
 Implement role-based access control (RBAC).

Need for Client Remote Access

Client remote access is crucial for the following reasons:

 Monitoring: Clients can remotely monitor SCP-2024 and AFO-2023 activities.

 Data Retrieval: Authorized clients can access relevant data without physical
presence.
 Emergency Response: In case of emergencies, remote access allows immediate
intervention.
