T-test
Computed Value Critical Value
3.27111 2.048407

Since the computed value, 3.27111, is greater than the critical value, 2.048407, then
the null hypothesis is rejected, meaning, there is a significant difference in the level of
acceptability of the purple passion fruit jam and yellow passion fruit jam in terms of its taste.
This means that yellow passion fruit is sweet enough and when the sugar was
combined it resulted sweeter and it is more appropriate for jams. While the purple passion
fruit taste sour, the flavor contrasted when it was combined to sugar, the outcome result was
sweet and sour and it is not accepted to most of the respondents.
Yellow passion fruit shares the same color and texture as the purple passion fruit, as
for the pulp it has a refine taste that feels less acidic, sweet and more tropical rather than
intense and overpowering. Purple passion fruit pulp it has an intense fusion of sour and sweet
flavors. (Elaine, 2023)
