Greetings and a very good morning to all, I thank each one of you for being here on a

Saturday morning, this shows the commitment and motivation of the Parties to amicably
settle the dispute through this process, I am Narendra Das, counsel representing the client
today for this mediation process. Please feel free to call me Das. Rest assured, bearing the
necessary authorization to advocate on behalf of my client.

Before proceeding to the negotiation, I would like to add on to a few things to set the motion
going in an efficient and structured manner.

I am here today as counsel to my clint Mr. Aryan in and only in an advisory capacity, I will be
helping and advising my client, putting his best interest in today’s negotiation, the sole
discretion to negotiate and accept the deal will remain with my client. It is pertinent today to
say that my client has specially asked me to be mindful of the fact that his preference would
be to reach an amicable solution for the conflict that has arisen and to leave this room with a
solution to suffice both parties’ interest.

This negotiation process, like already said is confidential, and it is in the interest of both the
parties to agree for non-disclosure of the facts learned in this process. Any facts learned or
any information gathered must remain with this process and is purely supplied for the sake of
transparency and confidence to negotiate proper deal and must not be taken out of this room.

Two, as a counsel today and a lawyer for the last 22 years of so, it would come habitually that
I might use legal term or expression that might not be perceived properly or comprehended
by the client, I am sure your counsel agrees we lawyers complicate things, as the negiotation
is unlike a legal process is client centric and I would be mindful of that, but for the same
reason I would urge the parties to please feel free to stop me for any clarification.

I would like to take this opportunity to remind that this negotiation is a client centric process,
where both the parties have to amicably agree to a solution, and needless to say, I invite all
participants to engage in this mediation process with an open mind, a willingness to listen,
and a commitment to work collaboratively. Let us remember that the aim of today's
proceedings is to achieve an outcome that is equitable, fair, and conducive to an ongoing
positive relationship between the parties.
